- I run Ysharim USA, the US branch of Ysharim Int'l., Safed, israel, which is headed by R' Yossi Toben.
I am a Messianic Jew, raised Conservative Jew, came to faith in 1971, was credentialed by Calvary Grace Church of Faith in Pennsylvania as well as by the National Society of Universalists(NOT the Unitarian-Universalists, but a Pentacostal organization in Monroe, NC). Both were back in the 70s.
In the early 90s, I took classes with an orthodox Jewish Yeshiva located in Lakewood, NJ, Pirchei Shoshanim. I did not receive semicha(ordination) with them.
In the late 90s, I was credentialed by Foursquare Int'l.
I was certified a Messianic Rabbi by Rabbi Haim Levi of the International federation of Messianic Jewish Congregations and Synagogues, Tampa, Fl about 9 years ago. Also received credentials from MBI and am recognized as a Messianic Rabbi by the UMJC,MJAA and CTOMC leadership(s), as well as the leadership of MIA.
