How Many NT Commandments?

Years ago I found this list in the appendix of the Dake's Bible.

The Jews claim that there are 613 Commandments in the Torah.

If this list is accurate there are almost 2x the number of commandments in the NT as in the OT:

In the Millennium: The law (H8451) will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

The Prophet regarding the Millennium, in Isaiah 2:2  declares:

Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law/Torah (H8451) will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

National Armed Services? Should Christians Join?

When we look at the plain teachings of Jesus, and the documents of the early church, we do not find believers joining the Roman or other military services.



Today, even in the USA the armed services offer a good, regular income as well as the means to get a college education. Joining the military is the only way for some of our young people begin earning money and be able to go to college.…
