A Witness Between Us—that the Lord is God

A Witness Between Us—that the Lord is God.

In Joshua 22 we read about the two tribes, Reuben & Gad having built an alter of remembrance unto God for future generations (verses 26-29) and explaining to Phinehas the priest why they did this. Verse 34 says they gave the alter a name.

Joshua 22:34
Amplified Bible (AMP)
34 The Reubenites and Gadites called the altar Ed [witness], saying, It shall be: A Witness Between Us that the Lord is God.

New International Version (NIV)
34 And the Reubenites and the Gadites gave the altar this name: A Witness Between Us—that the Lord is God.

Have you 'named' your marriage, family, ministry, children etc. 'A Witness [Between Us]—that the Lord is God?'

Blessings and joy

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
