Jesus as a human man got weary and wanted the cup of suffering to pass from Him but He quickly said to the Father "Not my will but Your will be done!!" And after that, the angels came and strengthen Him!!

There will be times in our lives when we will feel like giving up, throwing in the towel, surrendering to the trials and tribulations we face but we cannot do it!! We must cry out to our Heavenly Father as Jesus did and tell Him "Not my will Father but let Your will be done in my life!!"

Once we surrender our will to God for His will to be done in our lives, God will strengthen us as He did Jesus!! God is waiting on us to say "Yes" to His will and "No" to ours (Luke 22:40-46)!!!

Therefore, instead of surrendering to defeat, let's surrender our will to God so He can give us His will; God's will be done on earth in our lives as it is in heaven!!

Let us pray BEFORE stuff happens and then when it happen (Jesus let us know in this world we WILL have tribulations BUT be of good cheer because HE has overcome the world - we walk in His victory) we will not fall into temptation (sin)! Matthew Henry's Complete Bible Commentarysays "Pray that you may be kept from sin!!" We need to pray before so we will not fall into sin (worry, stress, doubt, unbelief, etc.)!!

As with Jesus, God does not always take us out of our sufferings (there are some things we MUST go through), He instead strengthens us to go through them!! I know this to be true!!

Years and years ago, I was going through some really rough stuff and God with compassion told me I must go through it!! I did not understand then but about 12 years later, God told me why!! And if I would not have gone through then I would not be able to do what God called me to do today!!! So thankful for God giving me His strength to go through that hard task in my life; could not have been able to make it if I would not have cried out to Him many, many times in pray and He kept sustaining me!! Thank You Jesus!!

David said in Ps 23:4, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, but I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

God is with us when we go through our darkest valley and ALWAYS!!

Remember, just because God does not answer when we pray with "Yes," does not mean it is a permanent "NO!" It can mean the answer is "No" for that moment!!!

Therefore, don't give up on your dreams, visions, and promises that God has given you when the going gets rough, hold on to God; cry out to Him so He can strengthen you so you can go through until HE brings you out – don’t be so quick to come out – God is doing something in you and through you so let Him do what He needs to do in you!! "As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest..." (Gen. 8:22)!! As long as you are on this earth, God has time to bring EVERYpromise, vision, true prophecy, dream, etc. to pass - it will be done in His own timing!!
