2. Created in God’s Image – Session 3 – Part B-1

As I said earlier, God created us in His own image and likeness; we were created in the image of the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit - Genesis 1:26-27). When we were in our mother’s womb, God made all the delicate, inner parts of our body (Psalm 139:13); God did this! God, our Father, loves us so very much! I am going to stop right here, and give Him praise! Father, I thank You for loving me and wanting to have eternal fellowship with me so you sent Your Son Jesus, to die in my place, restoring fellowship with You! Thank You Jesus for dying for me and saving me! Thank You Holy Spirit for changing my heart and being my Comforter, Teacher, and so much more! I TOTALLY surrender my life to You Father; my soul to You (mind, will, and emotions).

Proverbs 20:27 tells us that our spirit man is the lamp of the Lord which searches all the inner depths of our heart; we belong to God. God knows us, He sees what’s going on with us and He cares (Jeremiah 1:5)! God is the ONLY solution to our problems! Therefore, we MUST go to God for the answer to our problems and not seek after people. We should seek God with a greater tenacity, than we seek people “for a word” and prayer. Jesus died so we could come boldly before the Throne of God, not have people go to God for us! We don’t need any man to hear from God for us; let’s go to God ourselves and let God speak directly to us!
