God's Seven Gifts of Wisdom
God orders your steps: ''The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way'' ( Ps. 37:23 ). 2. God gives good things: ''The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes I have a inheritance '' ( Ps. 16:6). 3. God gives counsel through dreams and ;visions: ''I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons'' ( Ps. 16:7 ). 4 An awareness of His continual presence: ''I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved'' ( Ps, 16:8 ). 5. Removal of fleshly anxiety: '' Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope'' ( Ps. 16:9).6 Clear direction for the abundant life: ''For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life'' ( Ps. 16:30-11). God will bring us out of that which kills, separates, and destroys. 7. Fill us with joy and pleasure: ''In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore'' ( Ps. 16:11).
