I stood in the ancient cathedral trying to take all in. The tall stained glass windows threw sunbeams to the floors that bounced back up to the painted ceilings depicting God’s attempt to reach man with a touch. On that day the sunbeams gave the same message, appearing as the arm of God reaching into the room to warm us with His presence.

Most visitors were struck by an expected hush in the room, like that expected when entering a huge library. Overcome by the vision, whispers of a few visitors were picked up by the stone walls that tossed the sounds around room giving the sensation of angels speaking in unknown tongues.

The whole experience helped me really see God’s attempt to reach us. His light reaches into our darkness, but many still fail to see Him. His creation attempts to warm us to His presence, but many because of sin only hear His voice – as an unknown tongue.

Yet He still calls. He longs for us to see His love, take His Hand, and be sheltered in His arms.

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
