IT IS YOUR SEASON!

Numbers 13:20 

“[Moses said] And [see] what the land is [like], whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood [forest] therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.”

 

We all know that Spring arrives with fresh hope and new life and compels us to make fresh or new starts. It is probably the most favorite season of the year (maybe equal with Fall and/or with the exception of those who dread to battle the pollen). 

To everything in life there is a season. To everything in our lives, there is a season. Moses was referring to the time of harvest when he made the statement that it was “the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.” I believe the Church is also coming into a season of harvest today.

We need to remember that the thing about seasons is: they change. In light of that, we must remember that if we do not move when and where God directs us to go, the season will change and that window of opportunity will be lost.

To many people, especially in the church realm, that word change is a dirty word, yet, change must take place if life is to continue. Life is going to present changes – seasons – whether we like it or not or want to accept it or not.

Some have said that the writings of Ecclesiastes are the writings of a bitter backslider. Even if that is the case, there is truth in the words, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” (Eccles. 3:1)

We do not have the time or luxury to pause, deliberate, discuss, or postpone.

Right now is the time to move forward in the vision of God and His plan, purpose and destiny for your life! It is a new season!
