There is no special problem and there is no special challenge. Every problem or challenge confronting man is common. God has made a way of escape for every believer out of any confronting problem or challenge. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, don’t ever think that any contrary situation confronting you is special. Look at that situation and declare to it that it is common. The Bible says:
“ There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” – I Corinthians 10:13
God is faithful and all-knowing; He will not allow anything that is more than your capacity to bear to come unto you. He even has a ready-made way of escape from that challenging situation. The test you are going through now will soon turn to a testimony. Everyone around you will come to celebrate with you. Everyone around you will acknowledge that your God is indeed good.
Some people go through certain negative situation that can best be described as “well deserved” probably because they “earned” the negative experience but God is both merciful and compassionate. His mercies and compassion are new every morning. His compassion fails not (Lamentations 3:22-23).
God’s mercy will always answer when man returns and cries for it. When God’s mercies are released; they are released to clear off the mess of man. God’s mercies will always answer as a result of His compassion that fails not. The Bible says:
“Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.” – Psalm 66:11-12
You may have been in the net of affliction having men riding over your head or gone through fire and through water; the good news is that it shall turn unto you for a testimony. God through His mercies will bring you out and into a wealthy place. Even if you are a lawful captive, deliverance is in view for you as you turn to God fully. God will not just effect your deliverance, He will humiliate and punish your tormentors (Isaiah 49:24-26).
Jesus is LORD!
