As I close out this night I wanted to talk about jobs. How many of us ever get angry at the people at McDonald’s, or at a convenience store, or whatever? How many of us are rude to them when they’ve messed up? How many of us want things done yesterday, and when they are not we freak out? Do you know how hard it is to leave our families to go to a job when virtually every time we turn around someone is being hateful towards us? I know that the work force often seems like slave labor, but it’s even worse when something is bothering us and we take it to work. Then the next thing you know, BOOM, we explode on someone. Both sides of this equation can learn from this I had to learn the hard way, but if you’re in the public eye show some pride in your work. Work hard; that’s what you get paid for. So many of us are lazy and say “Well, I didn’t do this or that because it's not my job”. So, do it anyway, and do it with a smile! Stop all the drama that comes from talking behind people’s backs. I can’t count how many jobs I have started when the person that was training me talked bad about everyone and everything. Stop it! It’s not right and if you really hate your job so much find another one that suits you better. Now on the other side of all this is the customers, or the people that are receiving the work. I say this: quit being so mean and hateful towards them! The worker is just trying to do their job. It is not going to kill us to be patient, kind and courteous. We all have problems, and that is no excuse for bad behavior on either part. The next time you feel like you will be rude and crude think about what Jesus said, “Do unto others as you would have them do into you.” God bless; I love you all goodnight.

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
