One Mind One Flesh One Spirit

Understanding purpose is not easy to do if we are not listening to the words that God is saying to us. One thing I do know is that God is always having to ask us that question” not did we hear him, but do we hear him because if it were based on did we hear then the truth is that we already missed it. when my wife sends me to the store to get a few groceries and I come back from the store and began to empty the bags of stuff and I realize that I forgot something that she requested I pick up I realize that even though I thought that I was listening to what she was saying to me I really was not listening I actually heard what I wanted to here at that time. well it’s the same with hearing the voice of God. we say were listening but actually were hearing what we want to hear of him and wine up missing what He says which is the most important part of what He says we need now. as the Lord says he who has ears let him hear, what a waste of a beautiful gift God has given us. the ability to listen if mastered in the Spirit allows you to separate his voices from that which is not of the Spirit which then couses a reaction in you to respond accordingly to His will. at that moment in time, because once again if you continue to go forward and stop later and have to ask yourself if that was God you heard, then you already missed Him. I come from a big family seven brothers three sister, those in the body of Christ know in the Word of God He speaks of seven being the number of completion but we also know that the number three is very signifigant in the Word of God. now speaking in terms of my family that is a blessing. what I learned from that was we should not be just living His Words We need to understand the Honor in being His Word. when we look into the Truths of the scriptures here we see, Mathew 4:4”but he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that Proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” wow what an honor to know that you know just a glimps into your purpose. I’m going to come back to that in a few but the Spirit is telling me to share this verse with you, ”Psalms 86:11” teach me thy way, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. One point being that if we truly understand and believe this verse, in order for us to know His way we have to be able to hear Him. One of the things that the apostle Paul teaches us is how to master being content with our in the surroundings of the world but yet in the Spirit. One sure fact about being content in the Spirit of God is that you’ll be able to hear Him speaking and directing your steps into the future which after hearing Him becomes your present now. as I’m, sitting here Sunday morning listening to our Bishop minister His Sundays sermon he was explaining the difference between the word motion and locomotion, first the word motion means” it is the letting go of one place or thing so that I can aquire something or be moved to another place.” Then theres, locomotion which means, ”going from place to place with things being connected to you from places where you’ve been. That there is very powerful understanding, see because he told us in October that God was going to get rid of those bad things that kept us connected with our past, then in November He was going to get us into the present, then in December He was going to bring us into our future. And one thing we understand is you have to be in the Spirit to catch and understand this. And I’m saying this because you have to see it threw Spiritual eyes this helps you understand what your hearing, Jesus said these things I say to you the world cannot see nor understand.in the gospel according to John 1:50 says,” Jesus answered and said to him, “Becouse I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things then this.” I realize now why God tells us to write these Words that He speaks to me,it’s always important to look back at your journey with God and praise Him for where you are now at this present time. So many times in my life I was some place doing things thinking I was out of site out of mind and later he would ask me did I know how I’d gotten out of that situation, and I’d realize that I did’nt it was only because He was there all the time. Just sitting here I think back to when I got custody of my son when he was young, the Lord sent my wife to be my partner in raising my child with me, looking back I could not have done it if God had not made her a part of His plan in forwarding my life for His purpose. That’s why I always say my life belongs to Him, because He forgave and excepted me even though in my ignorance I disrespected the truths about the knowledge of God that my father and mother had taught me as a child, believe me saints I am truly grateful. There is a song our praise team sings called Grateful, the word to it go, “ I am grateful for the things that you have done, I am grateful for the victorys we’ve won, I could go on and on about your works, because I’m so grateful just to praise you Lord, flowing from my heart are the issues of my heart, is greatfulness.” For me that’s apart of my prayers because I know in Christ the victory has already been won for me on calvery. Glory be to God the Creator of life and every breath that I take by His Spirit my every step is guided threw darkness by His light which keeps me from stumbling so that I stand content in any situation knowing I am filled with the power and streingth of Him who lives in me. The Apostle Paul said,” so faithfully spoken, Acts: 18:9” During the night, the Lord told Paul in a Vision: “ Don’t be afraid. Continue talking to people and don’t be quiet.”
