Our WAY of Escape is Jesus!! Part 8

Ephesians 6:10-18 tells us to put on the WHOLE Armor of God, so we can take our stand, against the schemes of the devil!! This reminds me of the movie, “Wonder Woman” - I love that movie (saw it three times:). I especially loved the part where she was crossing no man’s land, and the Germans were shooting everything they had at her:)!! She was running INTO the bullets and bombs! Then she stopped, took a stance first, then kneeled, dug in, with her shield up in front of her:)!! Click here for the clip of Wonder Woman, crossing “No man’s land.”

MY GOD!! That was powerful!! It was when I first saw it, and still is very encouraging to me! I still get chills and feel so encouraged by this one scene in the movie, when I watch it again today! God can take ANYTHING and use it to encourage us!!” God uses what works best for us, to encourage us with!! That is why our walk with God is an individual one; what works for one person, might not work for others! God knows exactly what is best for each individual and knows how to handle us individually! Therefore, we should not compare ourselves to anyone else; how God moves for them - it will also discourage us, if it does not work for us!

While watching “Wonder Woman,” God gave me a quick revelation, right there in the theater. God let me know, that is how we are to use OUR Shield of Faith, He has given us, to quench EVERY fiery dart of the enemy!! Instead of cowing down from the enemy, we drop to our knees, dig in, put up our Shield of Faith, and STAND!! Stand on the Word of God; we fight with the Word, with our “Shields UP!” When we TRUST God INSTEAD of complaining, we will see His Hand move for us quicker! Also, we cannot compare what God is doing for others, with our lives; we must wait our turn – don’t try to hurry God – God knows what He is doing!
