In the grieving process, the hardest aspect might be the loss of communication with your loved one, especially if the bond was strong, like that of a spouse or child.

Being able to freely communicate about your day, emotions, the things that upset you or make you happy....all these are things we usually take for granted while our loved one is still alive. Only once this 'gift' of being able to talk and chat has been 'hampered' by death, do we realize how important communication is not only to our loved one but to us as well; the emotional lift we experience by sharing our thoughts and dreams and our day with that special person is no longer possible, like it used to be anyway...

For some, the ability to carry on conversation with their loved one, even though it is a monologue to them, seems to be an effective way of not only coping but dealing with grief and processing emotions, while for others this may not be the case and they instead withdraw and become silent.

There is no right way or wrong way to grief. Each individual has their own prepossess and time....

Should you have lost a loved one recently and battling to come to terms with your loss, we are praying for you and keeping you in our prayers as you start your healing process...

Stay blessed in Christ our Redeemer

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
