The Rainbow Returns 4/7/2010

This morning I give glory and praise to our Divine Father in Heaven. The rainbow has returned to my living room ceiling this morning, but this time there is no star or cross in the center. I wrote about the rainbow when it first appeared on Good Friday. The rainbow is a sign of God’s promise to us. It is a symbol of renewal, new birth and cleansing. I am honored, once again, to have the rainbow appear in my home. It tells me I’m on the right path.

We attended a Spirit filled service at New Birth last night and my brother-in-law became a member. Halleluiah! Bishop’s message was powerful. It was a continuation of the message he began to deliver on Resurrection Sunday about “The New Season” we are stepping into. The Holy Spirit has not confirmed or even qualified me to be a Pastor or a Minister or a Prophet or a Teacher, but He has confirmed me to be a Disciple so I want to share with you some of our Bishop’s message from last night’s service so that you can apply it to your life as I have applied it to mine. This is a season of change. Change is not always easy to accomplish. And I will stand on the Word of God about this, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press forward toward the goal of the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” God spoke these words through the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippians, 3:13-14.

There is a shift occurring and opportunities are being presented to me and to you because it is our time. Before we were born, God had already written our lives. All the timing for our opportunities had been set. Bishop proclaimed that in April of 2010, my shift will happen. Are you ready to accept that promise and make the necessary changes in your life? If not, those opportunities will pass you by. You must have faith and He will reward you with the opportunities He has set in place for you. You must take a stand because we are in a war. Surround yourself with strong children of God who will have your back. You know who those people are. And when you make the decision to accept those opportunities, you must act on them NOW. No doubts, no apprehensions, no stress can be allowed. That’s what your warriors are for. Don’t be timid, but be bold. Don’t be indifferent, but take a stand. Don’t look over your shoulder and don’t look back. And when you catch it and run with it, the Lord will have His glory. He will show you off to others so they can see how a child of God handles the situation. Halleluiah! Praise Him now!!!

Bishop said these words last night and they made me chuckle but they also made me say, “Amen.” “Spiritual inspiration without application causes constipation.” I have already accepted one of my opportunities and I have rolled with it. Even though I never thought I would have the devotion to accomplish this, I did it. I designed and developed a website yesterday, all for the glory of God. The only Helper I had was the Holy Spirit. And I have new opportunities jumping at me right now like ping-pong balls. I can only catch so many of them all by myself. But I don’t want to miss any of these opportunities and that is why my steadfast and mighty warriors are there to help me catch the rest.

Pray with me.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for allowing me to recognize the opportunities You have written for me. I praise Your holy name! I get it now Lord, I really get it. I understand that through faith I can move mountains, I can accomplish anything, even the seemingly impossible because You said I could. And I recognize that without You I can do nothing. Forgive me Lord for ever doubting Your faithfulness to me. Forgive me for believing what the world said I could never do. The devil is a liar. But I know now that even the devil knows my name and when I get up, he fears me because I am Your child. And I have Your army behind me! I love You Lord. I honor You and forever I will sing so all the world will see how great is my God!

Halleluiah!

Amen.
