The Unexamined Life

The blessedness of having life essentially requires for each of us to at least examine our lives. This is an ongoing personal quest of Socratic inquiry that leads the seeker onto two roads. One of the roads is called the” Street of Divine Retribution.” Literally millions have found that this road leads them to a life of wrathful vengeance, which is devoid of peace and life. The other less traveled road is the “Street of Divine Regeneration.” Many have been called, yet very few have chosen this Way, for it is straight and narrow thus many lose their way. This road leads to personal surrender and self-denial in order to find the essence of meaning of this life- death is required. 

 

An unexamined life is an inherited destitute reality for many, a constant daily life that is painfully led and experienced by many. More and more, the sea of the wayward, empty parched souls are dysfunctional in a lapsed status indicated by the natural deviation from that which is true and absolute.

 

Just as the crooked arrow, which is shot from a bow, the unexamined life will never hit the mark. For it will continue to wander directionless away from the path of uprightness and honor.   For there are three things that each life traveler must master for sure: The Way of the World, The Prince and power of the Air, and Self.

 

The eternal wisdom and kindness of our Creator has been extended to all those who care enough to begin to critically examine their lives for purpose and meaning. The horrific undisclosed reality about the “Street of Divine Retribution” is that all those who travel on it are helpless and in need for salvation. In each person’s helplessness and powerlessness over the World, Satan and Self implemented a detour from destruction to that of eternal life.

 

The blessedness of the Creator’s plan for those who are traveling on the “Street of Divine Regeneration” by far is the divine means in which each soul may not only be examined but also made healthy and mature while we are on this short but needful journey. True peace and liberation in this life is in the Messiah, Jesus the Lord of all Creation. We all are created to worship our Creator in an intimate manner, which is our daily substance that is granted in our vertical communion with the Creator. How God receives His glory is in our horizontal service of obedience to others before a godless society. The examined life is a life in the Messiah who is devoted to serve as The Creator’s “workmanship,” recreated to be God’s image bearers before a dying world.

 

My prayer is for all souls to seek only total truth that is made manifested by God via the Holy Spirit and is affirmed by the correct Biblical interpretation of the Holy Scriptures. May our Heavenly Father bless you and your household with His Love, Grace and Peace.

 

This abovementioned inspiration was gleaned from a recent study of Ephesians 2:1-10
