28:03 Early christians gathered mainly on the 7th day of the week as commanded. See Acts 20:7.
The day begins at sundown Gen 1:5, 8, 13 etc. also look at Lev. 23:32 to know evening is the beginning of the rest.
Acts 20 tells us they gathered to eat and to hear Paul before he was to leave in the MORNING. At midnight, which was still the first day of the week, an accident took place.
In the MORNING which was still the first day of the week Paul left, which means there were NO "church service" taking place. It already took place when they first gathered to eat at sundown and it lasted all night till MORNING.
To say the first christians met on the first day of the week is to misunderstand how time is reckoned the ancient days of the early christians.

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.
We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
