- Christ in touch foundation CTF in acronym is a not for profit non-government Christian faith based organization fully registered and operating in western, central and eastern part of the country. The organization was founded by Pastor Kabagambe Eric and Nerima Agnes alongside other pioneers in 2012 as a community based organization under Kampala capital city authority commonly known as KCCA operating in Kampala until 2016 when it gained momentum and upgraded to non-governmental organization with zeal of touching and transforming generations from poverty, disease, illiteracy, inequality and above all lifting them spiritually. Christ in touch foundation envisions a creation of an enabling environment that makes Uganda a better place for everyone in the field of spiritual and social economic development and it can only be done through implementation of activities that create sustainable development and networks which are key to transforming people and bringing them closer to their savior.
The foundation has championed in missions and evangelism, poverty alleviation, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), education and health and nutrition as our areas of interest as we eradicate the spiritual and physical poverty among the people. In doing our work we take evangelism as the backbone of our existence, that’s why it’s crosscutting in all our areas of interests. Just like our motto which touching and transforming generations, we endeavor to help people regardless of their religious background to prepare their hearts for the gospel message of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ In Touch Foundation works with local churches, Christian community based organization and youth groups to further the gospel through charitable works.
The foundation has designed different activities within the sectoral areas or areas of interest that can best address the problems facing the common people and prepare them to face the future with hope not only that but also to get acquainted with the saving Knowledge of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Among the activities includes the following gospel outreaches, Mobile clinics, child sponsorship, women and youth empowerment, youth and leadership conferences, community cleanups, feeding the hungry, sports, maternal nutrition and child health, HIV/AIDS, linkage to vocational institutions, agricultural projects like farming and animal rearing
The foundation operates in six districts namely Kampala, Wakiso, Mpigi, Kyegegwa, Bushenyi and Kamuli of which the first three are in central region; the following two are in western region and the last one in eastern region. We are motivated to reach out to as many people as possible from different backgrounds and settings with the saving knowledge of Christ through charitable works; the foundation intends to touch the hearts of all its beneficiaries so that their minds can be transformed by the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ. The foundation needs partners who can give hand for the furthering the great commission through the great commandment of loving one another as yourself which has profound bearing on spiritual growth in the lord. We call upon your organization to be part of this great work of saving tens of thousands from both spiritual and physical poverty, we have different sectors like Missions and evangelism, education, poverty alleviation, water, sanitation and hygiene, health and nutrition of which they are all done in the way that furthers the gospel. The foundation treasures accountability, transparency, integrity, faith, responsiveness and professionalism as core values and the guiding principles on which the foundation rests.
