Dear Brother William. I had the pleasure to peruse your bio on the website. I note too your Ministry covers much that I too are involved in. I am a former Royal Navy medical man and served with the Police. During this time served as the UK civilian member on the USAF Crisis Intervention Team within the Mental Health Wing. This proved of excellent worth as it meant sharing alongside the Military Chaplains also. As you will appreciate due to the multi faith capabilities and services much empathy and camaraderie was established that sadly is not found within the civilian sector. That is one reason I find within the AOCI there is much to herald in the true joining together and respecting of each other's faiths, for the betterment of all and to restore some sanity, peace and stability in our earthly world. I am the Director of the Trauma Centre (UK) dealing and treating ALL suffering the effects of a traumatic event. My main field is treating EMS personnel and Military as well as those who have encountered and been robbed, raped and beaten, parents and close relatives of murdered children, and all having encountered man made or natural disaster situations. That is why when I read your Bio it was for me a most heartwarming experience to now be able to share in our ministries. On the Trauma Centre site I have permitted the Book I wrote to be used as an EBook for all, especially EMS and Military personnel. There is also an article for family members titled "There's nothing wrong with me". Which explains what has occurred and the reasons sometimes why loved one's shut down and cannot communicate and how best to address the situation. Please forgive me for such a lengthy introduction, but feel it is the rewards we receive seeing and treating fellow human beings, returning them to families from a hell hole they probably did not realise they found themselves in. As Priests and Chaplains ministering to all it is initially the contact, our presence which leads to empathy and trust by listening intently to what they are saying, that allows individuals to open up and externally ventilate all their inner hurt pain and distress in a safe controlled manner. Thus making them stronger and returning to them their self esteem and confidence that previously they once lost. Uniting in turn the family unit which was feeling so fragile and now secure. May I send you all blessings William and be assured that you, your family and all whom you come into contact daily will be held high in my daily prayer list. God Bless my friend. David.

Welcome brother William! We're excited that you've joined hands with us for the advancement of the gospel. We believe we're able to achieve much more together than any of us could by ourselves. Please feel free to share your concerns with us and we'll be more than glad to respond in a decent time frame. Your name will never go unmentioned in our prayers. And, in the mean time, God bless.

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
