- I currently serve at Northside Christian Church in New Albany, IN. I assist with counseling, benevolence and group activities. Fortunatley, I had a brain Tumor, which has caused me to be disabled. You may wonder why this is fortunate? I am able to devote my time (when Healthy) to my church and the community on a volunteer basis. This has led me to a deeper relationship with God and a positive means to devote my time. Prior to my brain tumor surgery, I worked in a secular setting with little time to devote myself to God. Now, I have the ability to serve others and do it without monitary gain

Triumph over loss

Bad weather killed several just nine miles north of my community. Not only were lives lost, but communities leveled and families were left with nothing. However, these are the times when we should not be looking to what we lost , but what can be gained. Strength arises when we look to Him to rebuild not just homes, but our lives. May God rebuild our lives daily!
