"Uniting Christian & Jewish Clergy from Around the World"
The more we struggle and agonize in our own strength, the deeper we will sink in the awful power of temptation. We must be dependent upon God alone. We must sincerely ask God to cleanse our mind and heart. Without God's help, we can do nothing. Like David, we must thoroughly understand the awful corruption of our fleshly nature and the danger of trusting in our own strength. Like David, we must cry out to God for a thorough cleansing of our hearts, minds, thoughts, and imagination from…

Above all, taking the shield of faith, ‘’
But what is faith? (Hebrews 11:1) Says faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We not only have to have the shield of faith, we have to know how to use it. Why does it say ‘above all’ take the shield of faith? Simply for the reason that salvation (the helmet) righteousness (the breastplate) the gospel (the shoes) and both the written Word of God (the belt of truth)…

Many people think that the good things they do and the bad things they do are added up to how they stand before God. They think that, so long as there is more good than bad in their lives, they have a right to GOD’S favor. This is simply not true! Even many who claim to be Christians and acknowledge that God has paid a great price to bring about…

We all know only too well that our life will end sooner or later with the coming of death. God sent His son, the Lord Jesus Christ, into the world to open up a way of life. The way of salvation from death is the very heart of the Christian Gospel. Our sins separate us from God, who is the source of all life. Jesus came to bring man to God, by showing the way of life. A man may know his Bible perfectly, from Genesis to Revelation: he may have a thorough understanding of…

We are not alone in our battle with sin. Others have faced the same thing and have experienced God’s deliverance. All our temptations are common to all men, so we cannot hide behind the idea that our problem is different and thereby seek to excuse our sin by its uniqueness. There is great comfort in knowing that others have faced similar and even worse testings and temptations and have endured by the strength and faithfulness of God

Since God’s desire and goal is that we might not sin, how we have victory over sin?…

Recognize that God has dealt with us in a compassionate manner and he invites us to choose, of our own free will, to come to Him. This offer has been extended for our own well-being and has cost Him dearly. No higher price has ever been paid than that which was paid for our sins so that we might be saved. But again, it is our choice to either accept God’s gift or reject it. Let none who reject it say that the reason that they are lost is that God does not love us enough.…

God hates sin! But He also loves the sinner, even those so wicked that you and I might find it difficult to love. Jesus said that God’s love is perfect, or complete. It is this love that is the basis of our hope. We are important to God because we are His creation… We must understand that while our God is God of love, He is also completely righteous. Therefore, He cannot simply ignore our sins, but instead has acted in our behalf to deal with them. That is why the…

Sin destroys one’s relationship with God. This is why true contentment cannot be found by one entrapped by sin. God refers to those who would deny the reality or consequences of sin as deceivers and warns that one who makes a habit of sin is not of God. The consequences of sin are tragic and include both physical and spiritual harm. By continuing in sin God says that one hurts himself

It is important to know our God. Not just to know about Him but to know Him as God. In this universe and in eternity, when all has been said and done, man cannot fail more seriously than to live out his life estranged from his Creator. On the other hand, there cannot be a brighter success story than of a man or woman who walk with God.…

‘’The Christian’s life is not a modification or improvement of the old, but a transformation of nature. There is a death to self and sin, and a new life altogether. This change can be brought about only by the effectual working of the Holy Spirit… The wind is heard among the branches of the trees, rustling the leaves and flowers: yet it is invisible, and no man knows whence it comes or whither it goes. So with the work of the Holy…

Let us take a look at the World in (John 2;15 ). The
Bible says, ''Love not the world ...''What is the meaning
of ''the world'' here? It means the attractive things of the
world which Satan uses to draw us away from God
The second great enemy of the Christian is ''the flesh.
''What is ''the flesh''? The flesh is our sinful human nature.
Another name for''the flesh is SELF . It is what we inside.

Just as in the days of Joshua, God still offers his love and the
opportunity to serve him, but he will not force it on anyone.
You may recall God once before offered the tribes of Israel
the land across the Jordan. They refused this blessing out of
fear of the people who lived there. Because they fefused this
blessing, they were left to wander in the desert for forty years
until Joshua finally led them to…

Jesus calls us to friendship. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man
lay down his life for his friends, ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I
command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servent knoweth
not what his lord doeth; but I have called you friends; for all things that I
have heard of my Father I have made known unto you ( John 15:13-15,KJV ).
