“Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.”--Matthew 5:5. When someone recognizes his sinfulness and mourns over it, he develops meekness or humility. Meekness does not mean thinking less of yourself than of others, nor does it mean having a low opinion of your own gifts. It means freedom from thinking about yourself one way or the other at all. Can we focus on others so that they can increase in our minds while we decrease in our thoughts? Can we be submissive people living "The meek shall inherit the earth” as our motto?

Many Christians have a problem with meekness. We look down upon the Mormons, JWs, Buddhist, Muslim, etc… as if Jesus died only for those who claim to be Christians. If we aren’t others centered in our thinking, we’re not obedient to Christ. Jesus doesn’t want any to perish but many will. Will you have to answer to the judgment for not spreading the Gospel to the non-Christians? Jesus Christ Himself is the one who told us, "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth." So when the earth is finally inherited by the meek, what kind of place will it be? Who are these "meek" people that Jesus said will inherit the earth? Are you one of them?

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
