Christ is the Author & Giver of grace
As God, Christ is the Author & Giver of grace. As the Mediator, He is the Purchaser & Procurer of grace. In 2Timothy 2:1 it is written: “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” In Christ is a fountain, redundant, overflowing, ever-flowing for believers, for “of his fullness have we all received, & grace for grace” (John 1:16). Christ is not only the fountain & foundation of grace, but He also gives us grace to receive grace, one grace after another, grace upon grace.
