Fearing God.

As we have seen in these end days, mankind has lost their fear of the All Mighty. No longer does His word seem to be used to dictate the way men should live. This country has gone the way of idolatry and sedition, not seeking out the council of the Lord nor paying any respect to His commands or laws.

“The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd. And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

Sedition; A factious commotion of the people, a tumultuous assembly of men rising in opposition to law or the administration of justice, and in disturbance of the public peace.

We have been witness to an uprising of anti-Jewish anti-Christian behavior in, not only this country but of countries around the world. This is all been prophesied by the Lord Jesus and we are told not to be surprised by these events.

We have been witness to an uprising in opposition to the law of nature and God concerning the act of homosexuality in today’s society, a call for the Islamic law of Sharia to be introduced into our laws and to the administration of justice concerning the right and commission from God to the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

“But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.”

We are told by the Lord to settle it therefore in our hearts, in other words know that these things are to take place, be settled within your hearts that the prophecies of the end days, the hatred, the persecution, the establishment of anti-Christian laws will come into effect and that we shall, as many today are, be cast into prison for our testimony of the truth of Christ and the Father. The hatred of Christians and Christian values, has become rampant around the world. Many Christians are being killed because they refuse to deny Christ and be converted to Islam.

How can men today resist the truth of the prophetic word of God? Can they not see that what was prophesied over two thousand years ago by the prophets and confirmed by Christ is upon us today?

“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.”                                                             Even in the uprising in Libya, Egypt and other Middle Eastern countries, who are calling for a democratic society, even then they are also calling for the elimination and destruction of Israel, the chosen of God.  How can people today say that the prophecies of Christ are not true. Iran, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan  all surround Israel. Many of these countries have tried time and time again to wage war on Israel and each time they have lost to a smaller nation. Can you give a good explanation as to why this happened? I can, Israel is protected by the true and living God.

Jesus prophesied of Israel’s destruction in His generation and it came to pass, He also prophesied of these days of Israel; “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” This prophecy was of the Babylonian captivity and of the end days where the Holy City of Jerusalem shall be occupied by the gentile race of people, this concerning the appearance of the anti-Christ.
