MY HOPE IS IN YOU, LORD
Do you get discouraged when things go wrong? Do you ever feel like there is no hope in your situation? Do you ever think or feel, "Am I doing what God wants me to do? What if I don't understand what God wants for me?" We all have those moments. It's okay to question your thoughts and feelings. That's when we need to lean on God, pray to Him and seek His guidance. Jesus is our Blessed Hope. Hope is knowing that God will be there, knowing that God will help us through any situation in our lives, no matter what we see or hear or feel with our flesh. Our flesh can be fooled. Our emotions can be wrong. But GOD is never wrong. Turn to the One in whom all of our hope lies. Turn to Jesus. He is the way, and the truth, and the life. That's the lifeline we need to hold on to.
LORD JESUS, MY BLESSED HOPE, MY WONDERFUL REDEEMER AND SAVIOR, I GIVE ALL THAT I HAVE, ALL THAT I AM, ALL THAT I EVER HOPE TO BE, TO YOU TODAY. YOU ARE THE ONE I PUT ALL MY HOPE AND TRUST AND FAITH IN. YOU ARE THE ONE I SEEK FOR GUIDANCE AND PEACE. FILL ME WITH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT AND NEVER LEAVE ME. IN THY HOLY NAME I PRAY, AS YOUR HUMBLE CHILD. AMEN.
Psalm 71:4-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For You are my hope, O Lord GOD;
You are my trust from my youth.
6 By You I have been upheld from birth;
You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb.
My praise shall be continually of You.
