God Is…I Am… Devotional
Day 45 – 3/11/19: RENEWING TRUTH:
God Keeps My Mind in Perfect Peace
RENEWING SCRIPTURE:
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.
ISAIAH 26:3-4, ESV
RENEWING THOUGHT:
A worried mind is a mind never at rest. lt is a mind with an endless flow of anxieties and fears that can steal a person's joy, sleep, and even health. It's as though there is always something to work on, something that could have been done a better way, something new to worry about.
People have gone to extraordinary lengths in search of peace of mind. They have escaped to the mountains, endured years of soul searching meditation, and have spent fortunes on medications. And yet, true and lasting peace of mind only comes from one place.
A heart at rest and a mind at peace comes from the Lord. He is the Prince of Peace. He is the only One who can give peace because peace comes from Him. You find peace as you mediate on the Word of God, cast your burdens on Him, and receive His peace.
A mind stayed on God is kept in perfect peace. lf your mind longs for peace, stay your thoughts, meditations, and energy on the Lord. Trust in the Lord for everything. Receive what Jesus has already done for you at the cross. He can keep your mind in perfect peace.
RENEWING INSPIRATION:
Don't load yourself down with lists. Don't enhance your anxiety with the fear of not fulfilling them. Your goal is not to know every detail of the future. Your goal is to hold the hand of the One who does and never, ever let go.

Day 46 – 3/12/19: RENEWING TRUTH:
I am Setting My Mind on Heaven
RENEWING SCRIPTURE:
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
COLOSSIANS 3:1-4
RENEWING THOUGHT:
We become what we behold. If we consistently behold the Word of God, we can't help but be transformed into the image of Jesus. However, if we behold the world-its pleasures, values, and beliefs-we miss out on that transformation opportunity. Instead, we remain conformed to the image of the world. On any given day, we all can and will choose what we behold. lf you want to be transformed into the image of Jesus, set your mind on things above. The things above are spiritual things, heavenly things, the things of Jesus-His words, His ways, His work on the cross, His glory.
To set you mind on the things of the world rather than the things above is to fall into one of the enemy's traps. This trap subtly, progressively dupes you into caring more about things that, in the long run, don't matter at all; things like wealth, status, or possessions. When that happens, you remain confirmed to this world because your focus is on this world. Understand the transforming power of where you place your attention. Comprehend the spiritual principle that the person you will be tomorrow is a direct outgrowth of what you set mind on today. Set your attention on the things above, where Christ is. As you do, you'll no longer struggle and strive in vain to be more like Jesus. That transformation will happen supernaturally.
RENEWING INSPIRATION:
If you want to have a mind for God. If you want to be truly anointed by His power to do what you could not possibly think up on your own, we’ve got to be able to frequently let go of everything else.

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.
We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
