God's Timing

I had a little conversation with one pastor who is getting frustrated because he feels he hasn't seen fruits birthing out of his prayers. People of God, we’re never going to be able to walk in, and accomplish God’s will for our lives until we understand His timing and quit setting our own time. If it must be His will, it sure must be in His own.

For several times in the Gospels, Jesus told us to "ask and it shall be given to us." However, none of these verses promised of the time-frame. Though the promise is certain as reflected in the gospels, the 'speed' was not guaranteed. If the time-frame was not guaranteed, where from the frustrations?  If we're about setting our own time, where does He stand as our Lord? 

We have taken over the "Lordship" and, without being patient, have rushed into making decisions and have landed in many troubles. God sees beyond the natural and knows what we need and when we need the things we need. He leads us to where we'll profit and teaches us the way we should go (Isaiah 48:17). The truth is, we need God's grace to help us crawl out of our self-generated pit. 

If it must be His will, it sure must be in His own time!
