"Uniting Christian & Jewish Clergy from Around the World"
By Donna Ghanney (Wortham), CEO Kingdom Empowerment, Inc.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20 KJV
According to the Holy Bible, there are individuals in this world that calls things evil as though that it were good and good as though that it were evil. They are people that make things bitter appear to be sweet, and likewise things that are sweet to appear bitter. This same people cater to darkness and do not take pleasure in the Light. Someone may ask, “How can this be”. It is something that a real Christian may experience daily.
Jesus was the only Holy and Acceptable person on earth, yet the enemies of God wanted to turn His acts into something that was evil. While healing, they even wanted to say it was not good. When speaking the Truth in Spirit, the wanted to counter act it and make His Word appear to be bitter. When in all actuality it was the enemies of God that carried the real venom.
Today we see many of the enemies of the Tree of Life declaring that it is good to take life when the truth is it is evil. They have perpetrated a means of making it legal, while still taking away from the fruit of what is really good.
We also see many Christians facing persecution in the work place when they even keep silent for good. Yet they are still made to be evil in their silence. When they speak of peace, the words are twisted to be bitter.
Though we are facing these challenges in life, let us keep our hope on the Tree of Life that we may continue to bear the fruit of Jesus Christ and experience His glorious amazing grace in our lies.
As Christians, let us continue to forgive that we may continue the march in Faith and never lose hope. We can never fail with this Christian walk. When we allow the Word of God to prevail, the sweet will over shadow the bitterness. The pleasant Light will overcome the darkness. The good will overtake the evil. It is He that says “Woe”. It is in His hands.
