HIV/AIDS HERBAL RESEARCH IN AFRICA

My African brethren and friends,
What is the Christian/Church's response to HIV/AIDS in your country. How does the church look at herbal medicine as a remedy? Is the church campaigning for the use of condoms? What is the position of the Church on the use of condoms as a preventive measure? Does the Church support only the use of orthodox medicines? And what about pure herbal medicine as a remedy? I use the phrase "pure herbal medicine" to differentiate from native doctors/witch doctors concoctions.
This question may lead to many definitions and explanations:
1. Who is a native doctor?
2. Who is a witch doctor?
3. Who is a herbalist?
4. What is herbal medicine?
5. How are herbal medicines prepared?
6. What is orthodox medicine and how are they prepared?
7. Which is more Christian and spiritual? Herbal or orthodox?

Please let us discuss as honestly, practically, realistically as possible and as Scripturally as we are able. What is really happening in your own area or country? There are many approaches in different countries other than Christian prayer and orthodox medicine.

Also, if you wish to support herbal research into finding a safe and effective herbal remedy for HIV/AIDS, please write and let me know. I have been involved in this project for about 8 years now and my findings are positive. God has a cure for HIV/AIDS. I know this because who have been prayed for have been healed/cured. And I know those who have been healed through herbal remedy.
I shall be awaiting your response as I believe the remedy is not necessarilly going to come from the world or commercially oriented organizations. The Church would be used to profer solution to HIV/AIDS in Africa. And you can play a role.
