I'M THANKFUL FOR REALITY!

I AM THANKFUL FOR REALITY!

I remember there was a sentimental song someone sent and I noticed it does not convey any truth to those who sing it or listen to it, saying, "if I have..... and "if I go astray.....please forgive me"  We certainly must know when we have sinned or done wrong!                                                                                                                           Sin will not go unpunished by a Holy & Righteous God.  Remember Adam and Eve's sin that sold the Human Race into being sinners? A sinner is born with a rebellious nature against God – having a sin-nature!

Everyone born in this World is born a sinner, although Baptized as an innocent baby does not change the fact, for they start sinning (lying, cheating, deceiving and being deceived) after Baptism, without anyone teaching them to sin because they are born with a sin-nature. 

Sin separates man from knowing God and having fellowship with God and is Death-doomed.                               The first man was Created by God from the dust of the ground in His own likeness and Image & woman was made from one of Adam’s ribs as man’s help-mate.                                                                                                       They are Eternal beings, for God Breathed into them the Breath of Life!                                                                     When mankind fell into temptation through God’s Enemy, the Devil, they lost their covering of Light and Fellowship with God and took on the nature of the Devil, being Death-doomed.

GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE! John 3:16

It was this sin-nature that God dwelt with when He Sacrificed His Son, Jesus Christ born of Virgin Mary without sin, on the Cross of Calvary: the Penalty for sin.                                                                                                   Since He was born without sin, He lived without sin and had willingly laid down His life in Death & He became the Savior of the World.

Jesus Christ was God manifested in flesh as Man to the take our punishment even going to Hell for man.  BUT, on the third day, GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD!                                                                                             After Jesus Christ arose from the dead, this is what He declared, “ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH.  GO YE THEREFORE, AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY GHOST: TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: AND, LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD.”  Matt.28: 18 -20

All the pain, the shame, the rejection, etc. etc. who can understand what Christ endured, for the JOY that was set before Him – what joy?  After God raised Him from the dead He provided God with a Way to Remit the sins of Mankind through His suffering and Reconcile them as Children of God.

So Christ becomes the Way to God and His Holy Blood becomes the Power that breaks the sin-nature in our lives and cleanses us on the inside!  Hallelujah! 

I’m so thankful to Father-God for His Great Love & the Great Provision made by that Precious, Holy, Sinless, Blood-Sacrifice of Jesus Christ for me on the Cross of Calvary or else there was no hope for me, but to spend Eternity in Hell for I was born a sinner under condemnation: Death-Doomed & Hell bound.

When you read of the horrors of Hell you will appreciate the Love of God for sinful man that He Sacrificed His only Sinless Son on the Cross to save us from the pit of Hell. That is why, God demands every sinful soul must REPENT, and forsake sin and accept the Sacrifice of Calvary through Jesus Christ and follow HIM in water Baptism for the Remission of sins, not just forgiveness.

When we sin against others we are to ask their forgiveness and when we do not forgive others, God will not forgive us - then we will die in our sins and go to Hell.

Read this in Mathew's Gospel chapter 7 chapters 5, 6 and 7 known as the best Sermon on the Mount given by Jesus Christ when He lived in the World.

Peter's first sermon on the Day of Pentecost after he was Baptized in the Holy Ghost was: REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED EVERY ONE OF YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS: AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE  HOLY GHOST FOR THE PROMISE IS TO YOU & YOUR CHILDREN AND TO ALL THAT  ARE FAR OFF, AND TO AS MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL.  ACTS 2: 38, 30
