I would like to make you aware of a ministry that is reaching out and assisting ministries in both the United States and other countries.  We are a ministry of 28 years working for over 15 years in former Communist Lands and for the past 5 years working primarily in South America.  Our vision is to equip today's leaders for tomorrow's harvest.

God has given us a vision to work with pastors who are ministering beyond.  What do I mean by "beyond?"  In the countries of the world, there are many churches who exist in the larger cities, less in the surrounding towns and hardly any in the villages beyond those.  Most mission moneys go to the works in the cities.  Most short term mission teams go to the cities with some spending time in the outlying towns.  Because of the difficulty in transportation, technology and language, most of those pastors working "beyond" the lights of these towns never receive any support or training.

These churches are small and therefore resources are small.  Pastors have to work the land most of the time for most of the week with very little time to do ministry and take care of his flock.  There is very little money to do ministry and so the pastor gets very discouraged.  However, these pastors are the best resource the Kingdom of God has to evangelize the unreached, or hardly reached.  The reason for this is his close proximity to the people beyond. He has the language, the opportunity and the know-how.  What he doesn't have is the training, the resources and the encouragement.

Our ministry is determined to find these pastors, provide them with the training and resources they need and encourage them to finish the task of world evangelization.  After 28 years of having a burden to raise up an army of young "circuit riders" who will take the gospel to the people beyond, God has in these last days given us the open door into the lives of young men and women who are the hope of those living beyond in South America.

In May, I will be returning to Bolivia to work with a Brazilian missionary to Bolivia that has the same vision.  Together, we will travel up high into the mountains of southern Bolivia, building relationships and bringing hope and resources to the pastors in the outlying regions.  I will be taking two men with me who have the same vision and live here in the United States.

Upon returning to the United States, I want to travel among churches here in the states who would like to know more about how they can link with us and together reach out to these pastors beyond and walk shoulder to shoulder with them.

If you would like to know more about this crucial ministry, I encourage your comments and questions.  Thank you for taking the time to read this blog.  I hope to hear from you.Watch!! soon.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-1FZSUh7M0

May I interject that Invading the Darkness is part of the AOCI EPP (Endorsed Partnes Program) and I have personally known Rev. Whitley for some time. With this said, I want to thank you Rev. Whitley for your tender spirit and your passion to take the Gospel to remote areas which many ministers would not even consider going. God Bless you and keep up the great work!
