Let our eyes be opened.

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Many times in scripture, the children of God are faced with insurmountable odds, army’s coming against them that many saw as a real threat to their very existence, but as with the children of Israel, Christianity today faces similar threats and many are saying that there are too many to fight against. We must remember that it is not man that threatens our existence but the spirit of anti-Christ and the demons that inhabit the enemies of God. Our fight is not against the flesh but against evil spirits.

We know, from scripture, that there is a constant war going on beyond our sight, a war between the forces of darkness and the forces of light. The forces of darkness led by Satan, seeks to steal, kill and destroy mans souls by deception and lies, the forces of light, led by the Lord seeks to save mans souls, offering them eternal life through Jesus Christ.

These forces of darkness are messengers of Satan, sent out to destroy the Christian community. They employ men who are in agreement with them, they seek to manipulate men to change the word of God through false doctrines and religions. They create laws and statutes that would prevent Christians from testifying to the truth of God and His Son. They sue at law for the removal of any and all signs or mention of the Gospel. Many evil spirits have infiltrated churches, changing the truth of the gospel into a false doctrine meant to destroy not only the church but those that have believed Gods word from the moment of their salvation. A great falling away has begun, Biblical prophecies have been fulfilled and the end is nearer than many believe.

In these days of confusion and mistrust, we see many who are blinded spiritually and morally. Political parties seek only their power to be established over all men who will believe on them, many today are making gods out of these men willing to follow them no matter what their agenda may be.

The political party system in this country will destroy many Christians, for we have seen many politicians reward the unrighteous while desecrating the Gospel. It is a sad affair when a political system shakes their fist at God and laughs at His followers. Its as the old saying goes, “There are none so blind as those that will not see.”

In scripture, God has opened up the eyes of the blind physically and the eyes of those blinded spiritually. In the spiritually, many people are blinded because of their reluctance to accept the truth of the Lord. These people have made their decision to follow after unrighteousness and ignore a great salvation that only the Lord can provide.

The Lord has become angry at the populace of this world for when the learned and knowledgeable refused His Son he called them fools and blind, he called then upon the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind because they desired to know the Lord and be saved by Him the gentiles were taking the kingdom of Heaven as if by force, this is not seen in today’s world, where there is a great falling away from any truth.

He is continuing this same thing today, for not many mighty, powerful, wealthy or wise men will follow Him, for they seek not salvation but power and influence among other men. Many today refuse to believe in God, others desire to change Gods word to accommodate their unrighteous and sinful lifestyle, without regard to Gods statements on what sin is and its consequences. Many mighty men today have compromised their so called faith in God to be more acceptable to the minority of unrighteous.

The path to salvation is open to all that seek the face of the Lord but the Bible also states; Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The Lord will not hear the prayers of the sinner unless he is seeking salvation, willing to repent and accept Jesus as Savior, those that are blinded spiritually, still lost and under the influence of Satan’s lies will continue to fight against the Lord and His people. There are many who are blinded today believing that they are saved and still enjoy unrighteousness, they blindly follow after false doctrines, gods and religions that are contrary to Gods word and sound judgment.

They have begun to open their own churches and support groups, they have gone after politicians that are sympathetic to their causes, wanting the laws of the land changed to make themselves seam normal with the rest of society. The Lord speaking of sin and those that love it states; not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. A man in distress loves to cause others the same, those that are unhappy in their lives desire to make all others as miserable as they are, I have witnessed this many times.

They seek out others that enjoy their sins to make them have a sense of belonging and give them assurance of their ways. If they would open their eyes they would see that this is false and they have deceived themselves.

Many who are blinded by their own lust do not desire to be brought into the light, and the Lord being a just God has allowed them to make their own choice and He has sent them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

If a group of people allow themselves to be led by a blinded man, all shall be blinded and in darkness, all shall fall by the way side and be damned. Many people in the past were led by the blind and it has cost them their very lives and their souls, this happens in many cases in cults. This is happening around the world today, false doctrines are costing many their souls.

A man may save his life by rejecting Christ but in the end he looses his soul, others with faith in Christ may lose their life but in the end they save their souls. Our physical life is temporal but our souls are eternal.

A word from the Lord;

Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
