PEOPLE HANGING FROM BRANCHES

 

On August 27^th 2013 I was startled out of bed when the Spirit of the Lord showed me, branches with people hanging from them.   There were many, many branches and I saw lots of people hanging by their hands from each of the branches.  It was a horrible sight for it was un-natural!  No tree was visible.

I was thoroughly awake and considered this strange picture!  Usually there will be fruit that is seen on the branches to identify the tree, but these branches had people hanging from them!

Then I remembered the Lord Jesus Christ in John 15 spoke about the True Vine and its branches and that God was the Husbandman where the True Vine was planted.  So I read the chapter.

I realized something was wrong in this picture and immediately I began to examine myself as a branch of the True Vine!  I wondered if I’m one of those branches!  Have I got people hanging on to me and my words for that will not glorify God.

Every branch that bears the God-kind of fruit should be connected to the True Vine and draw its life-giving sap from the Vine to become fruit bearing branches themselves, in due course, for every branch must be connected to the True Vine!

What is the God kind of fruit? 

As I examined myself, I know that my earnest desire has always been to lift up JESUS CHRIST AND DESIRE TO DO HIS WILL IN MY LIFE AND LEAD OTHERS TO KNOW HIM, LOVE HIM AND OBEY HIM AND SERVE HIM BY DOING THE FATHER’S WILL.

I soon realized that though that was true there may be some who only agree with the Word, but the Lord showed me that they have begun to trust the Word given, and used the Word of God they heard where necessary in their circumstances, however, they do not believe the Word as God’s Voice to them and it is not their conviction.  If and when anyone with a stronger view point contradicts the truth of God’s Word they will be side-tracked and they will depart from THE TRUTH. 

The Lord said, “do they regard the Scriptures given as My Voice to them or as good advice given because it is from the Bible?

Many do not hear ME nor have fellowship with ME.”

 

In view of the above, I apologize to all those who are hanging on my words, instead of reading the Scriptures given and allowing the Lord’s Word to govern you as you obey the TRUTH.  

Remember,  JESUS CHRIST IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE AND NO ONE CAN BE RECONCILED TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH THE SON! John 14: 6

Every believer should be IN CHRIST AND HEAR FROM HIM PERSONALLY THROUGH FELLOWSHIP AND FOLLOW HIM IN OBEDIENCE AS THEIR LORD.   Each believer should continue to walk in faith following CHRIST from the time they responded to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, saying,  “Come unto ME”…  and then He said, “Follow ME”…. These are words that need ‘action’ from those who believe!

(Matt.11: 28; Matt. 4: 19 and John 14: 15 and Luke 11: 27, 28)

Do not just hear the Word and agree with it as it is from the Bible, but do not believe it enough to act on His Words.

Eternity is facing us and we must be serious about where we will spend eternity - in heaven or hell and that choice is ours alone!

Every branch should examine yourself, are you connected to the True Vine and drawing your sap from your fellowship with HIM, or are you hanging on to a branch (a particular believer), or a church or a tradition or are we teaching people to hang on to us as branches and not bringing them to Christ Who alone has the power to cast body and soul into hell those who do not believe. 

Jesus Christ said that branches cannot bear the God-kind of fruit and their fruit remain, unless they are connected to the True Vine.   If the branches are not connected to the True Vine (Jesus Christ), we cannot bring forth fruit to glorify God. 

The God-kind of fruit is bringing souls out of the power of darkness and into HIS MARVELLOUS LIGHT.   This is the heart and purpose for that precious and holy sacrifice on Calvary by the Savior of the world – JESUS CHRIST!

Those who are not born-again by the Spirit of God but only assent to the Word of God and consider yourself as a follower of Christ need to examine yourself and get connected to the True Vine so you are not among the ones hanging on to the branches (believers in Christ) or any particular denomination.   When the branches that do not bear the God-kind of fruit are cut down, then all those who are hanging on to them shall perish also!

 

Oh, Holy Spirit help all of us to take heed to what JESUS CHRIST said in John 15^th chapter and examine ourselves accordingly and make adjustments, if necessary, before it is too late!
