PRAYER, A POWERFUL WEAPON

PRAYER, IS A POWERFUL WEAPON!

 

Prayer is a powerful weapon because it reaches the ALMIGHTY GOD, WHO invites His children to come boldly to the Throne of Grace in the Name of Jesus Christ to find help in the time of need!

Heb. 4:16  “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need”

 

There was a time no one could approach this Holy God without a blood sacrifice, BUT NOW, after the precious sacrifice of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, sin has been put away!   The blood of Jesus Christ not only cleanses the sinner and makes him clean on the inside, the Spirit of God transforms him into a new creation; a child of God. This is the transformation that takes place when we are born-again by the Spirit of God.

 

We were ALL sinners born in the kingdom of darkness, separated from God, under condemnation, and bound for hell which was made for the devil and his angels.

NOW, our sins have been remitted and we have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God, reconciled to God, accepted by God as His children, condemnation removed, made heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, our names written in heaven and we are bound for heaven. 

1 Peter 1: 18. 19; Col. 1: 12, 13; Romans 8: 1;  2 Cor. 5: 17, 18; Luke 10: 20

GOD KNOWING that the enemy seeks to rob, destroy and kill, has given us authority through the Name of Jesus Christ on the ground of redemption (the blood of the Lamb) and gave us an armour with a mighty sword (the Word of God) with which to defeat the enemy. 

 

When we believe His promises and act on them, God will confirm His Word. 

Turn to Matthew 18:18-20   “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.  

Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.   

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

 

Read also Matthew 16:19  ^“ And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven”

 

Read Matt. 12: 29 “Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strongman? And then he will spoil his house.”

 

Read Luke 13: 12 “And when Jesus saw her He called her to Him and said unto her. woman thou art loosed from thine infirmity”

 

After reading the above don’t you agree that PRAYER BECOMES A POWERFUL WEAPON and we have been given the privilege to make a difference in lives in our world and doing the will of God  on earth as it is in heaven,  like Jesus Christ taught.

In prayer we have direct contact with Almighty God for He is our Father-God through Jesus Christ – individually.  His eyes are upon us and His ears are open to our cry.

Wherever and whenever we gather together with others in the Name of Jesus Christ, He is in the midst of us!   When He is present anything can happen! HALLELUJAH! 

When two believers are in agreement on earth as touching anything they shall ask, it shall be done for them by the Father in Heaven!

HOW POWERFUL IS THIS!!    DO YOU BELIEVE THIS? 

 

Prayer is fellowship with Father-God so we need to praise and worship Him and then with thanksgiving make our requests known to Him.

When the strongman (the devil) is involved, we should first bind him in the Name of Jesus Christ and command him to loosen his hold over the captive.

JESUS CHRIST HAS ALL POWER AND  HE IS LORD OF ALL!  HALLELUJAH!!

 

Pray for your family by covering them by faith with the blood of Jesus Christ since you are under covenant with God and praise God for the promise He has given for the family in Acts 16: 31.    Then in the name of Jesus Christ break the power of of the world, the flesh and the devil over their lives and bind and cast out spirits of false doctrine and wrong concepts influencing them.   Bring every thought of theirs  captive unto the obedience of His Word.  Pray for the peace of God and His blessings to rest upon them.

Pray for your marriage and thank God for him/her keep it under the blood of Jesus Christ and in the Name of Jesus Christ pull down any stronghold that has been built up by the devil to cause division between husband and wife.

 

When praying for unsaved loved ones cover them with the blood of Jesus Christ for protection and then in the name of Jesus Christ break the power of false doctrines and wrong concepts over them and bring to naught the power of the world, the flesh and the devil over them.  Remind the devil that Jesus Christ died for them and paid in full for their salvation and therefore they legally and rightfully belong to the Lord.   Ask the Lord to bring them to the end of themselves so that they will call upon him and be born-again.

We cannot pray them into heaven but they will be brought to repentance and forsake their sins and follow Christ.   You need to witness to them showing them the need to obey His Word to be baptized IN WATER and be filled with the Holy Ghost.   You need to witness to them and by your life they will know that you belong to the Lord. 

When you are faithful and hold on to God’s word of promise, then God will bring them to that place of repentance.

 

Believer, the basics to prevail in prayer is to stand on redemption ground and then in the name of Jesus Christ bind the strongman and bring to naught all his works wherever you know he is involved.

Give no place to the devil in your life as it is written in Eph. 4: 27

When you are in submission to God and resist the devil he will flee!

Our warfare is spiritual and not carnal.  He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

Get one other person to pray with you in agreement and pray for the government and the church of j=Jesus Christ and Israel, etc. etc.

Use the weapon you have believer and let us bring souls out of darkness and into the kingdom of God.

Jesus said, except a man be born-again he shall not see the kingdom of God.  Then where will he go?  but to hell for the Lord told us there is a heaven and there is a hell in eternity.

Eternity is at the end of our of our breath and Jesus Christ is a prayer away!   

Call on him now and mean it and he will abundantly pardon you.

No sin (big or small) will enter heaven and if your sins are not remitted before you leave the scene of life, you will be lost forever!

Your prayer to God Almighty now can change YOUR eternal destiny!
