The Philippian jailer asked Paul & Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”--Acts 16:30. They responded, “Believe in the Lord Jesus & you will be saved”--Acts 16:31. Believing in the Omnipotent One is it! Christ died for sinners & being saved by grace through faith is the key. Christians cannot get caught up in easy believism & as followers of Christ, we must stay away from & discourage "Instant Christianity."  Instant Christianity tends to make the faith act the terminal (end) & so smother the desire for spiritual advancement. It fails to understand the true nature of the Christian life, which is not static but dynamic & expanding.
By trying to pack all of salvation into one experience, or two, the advocates of instant Christianity flaunt the law of development which runs through all nature. They ignore the sanctifying effects of suffering, cross carrying, & practical obedience. They pass by the need for spiritual training, the necessity of forming right religious habits & the need to wrestle against the world, the devil and the flesh.

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
