THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS AT HAND!

When there is a National event or International event announced, everyone concerned immediately get busy planning and preparing for that event. Some times others in the world may not be involved or affected by it personally, but plan to be there or watch it on TV                                          The Holy Spirit reminded me of the greatest coming event recorded in the Word of God.

THIS IS THE GREATEST WORLD-WIDE EVENT TO TAKE PLACE. 

THIS IS BETWEEN GOD AND EVERY BORN-AGAIN, BLOOD BOUGHT BELIEVER WHEN IT TAKES PLACE!

Therefore let us PREPARE AND BE READY for this great event so we will not miss His coming and be left behind.  Let us spread the news of His comming so others could get ready too!

REMEMBER, WHAT GOD SAID HAPPENED AND WHAT GOD PROMISED WILL HAPPEN!

THE DETAILS OF THE VISIBLE SIGNS BEFORE HIS COMING AND ALSO WHAT IS TO TAKE PLACE WHEN HE COMES ARE GIVEN IN THE BIBLE!  HOWEVER, THE DAY WHEN THIS GREAT EVENT IS TO TAKE PLACE IS NOT KNOWN AND THEREFORE WE NEED TO BE READY!

IN CHAPTERS 24 AND 25 OF THE GOSPEL OF MATHEW THERE ARE SOME DETAILS. LET US READ A PORTION OF WHAT JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF SAID -  FROM VERSE 35 TO 51 FROM MATHEW 24.

V 35. HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY, BUT MY WORDS SHALL NOT PASS AWAY!

BUT OF THAT DAY AND HOUR KNOWETH NO MAN, NO, NOT THE ANGELS OF HEAVEN, BUT MY FATHER ONLY.

BUT AS THE DAYS THAT WERE BEFORE THE FLOOD THEY WERE EATING AND DRINKING, MARRYING AND GIVING IN MARRIAGE, UNTIL THE DAY THAT NOAH ENTERED INTO THE ARK.

AND KNEW NOT UNTIL THE FLOOD CAME, AND TOOK THEM ALL AWAY:  SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE.

THEN SHALL TWO BE IN THE FIELD, THE ONE SHALL BE TAKEN AND THE OTHER LEFT.  TWO WOMEN SHALL BE GRINDING AT THE MILL, THE ONE SHALL BE TAKEN, AND THE OTHER LEFT.

WATCH THEREFORE; FOR YOU NOT WHAT HOUR YOUR LORD DOTH COME.    BUT KNOW THIS,THAT IF THE GOOD MAN OF THE HOUSE HAD KNOWN IN WHAT WATCH THE THIEF WOULD COME, HE WOULD HAVE WATCHED, AND WOULD NOT HAVE SUFFERED HIS HOUSE TO BE BROKEN UP.  THEREFORE BE YE ALSO READY; FOR IN SUCH AN HOUR AS YE THINK NOT THE SON OF MAN COMETH.

WHO THEN IS A FAITHFUL AND WISE SERVANT WHOM HIS LORD HATH MADE RULER OVER HIS HOUSEHOLD, TO GIVE THEM MEAT IN DUE SEASON?

BLESSED IS THAT SERVANT, WHOM HIS LORD WHEN HE COMETH SHALL FIND SO DOING.  VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, THAT HE SHALL MAKE HIM RULER OVER ALL HIS GOODS.   BUT AND IF THAT EVIL SERVANT SHALL SAY IN HIS HEART, MY LORD DELAYETH HIS COMING; AND SHALL BEGIN TO SMITE HIS FELLOW SERVANTS, AND TO EAT AND DRINK WITH THE DRUNKEN:  THE LORD OF THAT SERVANT SHALL COME IN A DAY WHEN HE LOOKETH NOT FOR HIM, AND IN AN HOUR THAT HE IS NOT AWARE OF, AND SHALL CUT HIM ASUNDER, AND APPOINT HIM HIS PORTION WITH THE HYPOCRITES: THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.

One of the signs given here is, – as it was in Noah’s day.   They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage – going about daily life WITH NO TIME FOR GOD – TOO BUSY. 

The wickedness of man was great and the earth was filled with violence, says the Bible.  They did not even consider Noah’s preaching about God and the coming judgment because of sin!

While the ark was being built Noah preached to them that rain was going to destroy every living thing on the earth.   Many I think would have come to see what was going on as sight seeing but they were not interested in his message.   THEY ALLOWED THEIR HUMAN REASONING TO OVER RIDE THE MAN OF GOD AND HIS MESSAGE.   Some of their reasonings maybe -he is old, why build an Ark far away from water and on a Mount and where would there be enough water to float it?

They had not heard of rain before and they continued their busy self-centered and selfish lifestyles, until Noah & his family entered into the ark of safety and security from the wrath of God.     This was God’s provision for those who believed His Word through Noah’s preaching but only Noah’s family believed the message and helped him with the building of the ark and entered in.   Maybe, SOME EVEN HELPED NOAH BUILD THE ARK FOR WAGES BUT THEY DID NOT BELIEVE HIS MESSAGE!

How blind and prejudiced they must have been not to be impressed or stirred when they saw different animals and all living creatures great and small going UP THE Mount into the Ark, for no man controlled this!  SURELY THIS WAS A SOVEREIGN ACT OF GOD!

The only ones saved were Mr. and Mrs. Noah, theirthree sons and their wives – 8 souls, while thousands perished because they were bound by sin and their wrong concepts or traditions rather than heed the warnings of God regarding the wrath of God coming.

Yes, they laughed and mocked but when the waters began to flood their homes they perished.  I’m sure some would have remembered old Noah and his Ark and tried to get in at the last minute, but this was denied them, for GOD SHUT THE DOOR! 

Every living thing perished except those that were in the Ark.

GOD’S DAY OF GRACE AND MERCY WERE OVER!

GOD WILL NOT BE MOCKED FOR GOD CANNOT LIE NOR FAIL TO KEEP HIS WORD!

In the book of Numbers 23: 19 we read – GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE NEITHER THE SON OF MAN THAT HE SHOULD REPENT: HATH HE SAID AND SHALL HE NOT DO IT? OR  HATH HE SPOKEN AND SHALL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD?

This event that our Lord Jesus Christ mentioned here did happen and it is recorded for us in the Old Testament in the Book of Genesis.

Since the days of Noah the people have multiplied and once again the earth is filled with wickedness and violence.   THEY ARE AGAIN TOO BUSY TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD AND KNOW THE TIMES IN WHICH THEY LIVE   SOME ARE TOO BUSY SERVING GOD SEEMINGLY BUT NOT DOING THE WILL OF THE FATHER IN HEAVEN.

People are lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.  Read this in

1 Tim. 3: 1-9  and 1 Tim. 4: 1-3   They have a form of godliness but deny the power of God to save and to keep.  Many people know what the denomination says and what the preacher says but they do not know what God has said on a given matter. 

They have been diverted from following JESUS AND SHOWING THEIR LOVE FOR HIM BY OBEYING HIM.  John 14: 15

Many profess to know God but live as though their God is a plastic God or a dumb idol.  They think He cannot see their lifestyleS, nor hear them apart from when they pray, or  outside of their religious settings.

We are living in a time when another JESUS is being preached, and another GOSPEL is being presented, and they have another SPIRIT operating instead of the real Holy Spirit.    Read this in 2 Cor. 11: 4

The true Gospel of Jesus Christ has power to save from sin and transform a sinner into a child of God. Romans 1: 16

GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.  John 3: 16

JESUS CHRIST WAS BORN OF VIRGIN MARY TO REDEEM US FROM THE DOMINION OF THE DEVIL BY SHEDDING HIS HOLY BLOOD TO PUT AWAY SIN.

Though Jesus Christ was falsely accused and crucified and died, on the third day God raised Him from the dead and He is alive for ever more!   He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of His Father in the position of all power and authority. Part of Peter’s sermon in Acts 4: 12 says. “NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER: FOR THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED.

Man has been given a free will and has a choice to make.  Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God manifested in flesh to take away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

Believe God has raised Him from the dead and He is alive and His blood has power to cleanse you from all sin. Repent and be willing to forsake your lifestyle of sin and commit your life to the Lord and serve Him.

The Holy Spirit makes you clean on the inside and transforms you and brings you into a relationship with God as your Father.    What will be your choice?

God promised that Jesus Christ will come again to receive His redeemed people.  Are you one of them?

In 1 Thessalonians 4: 13- 18 we read that the sound of the trumpet will be heard by His children, the dead in Christ will arise first and they that are alive and remain at that time will be caught up together to meet Christ in the air!   Hallelujah!!!

I really do not know how this will happen but the Holy Spirit has the power to do this. Amen!

We will be changed in a twinkling of an eye or like a lightening flash (Matt. 24: 27)

This is what Jesus Christ said, the one taken and the other left.  Two will be working together or sleeping together – one taken and one, left the one ready will be caught up and the other left behind.   His redeemed people will be caught up to meet their Lord in the air.

Some refer this as the rapture of the saints.

A WORLD-WIDE EVENT IS TO TAKE PLACE ANY TIME, BE READY!

The people left behind will go through confusion and fear and much tribulation.   Some will not know what happened to their children who have disappeared (under the age of accountability) or their missing loved ones. 

Just imagine, if some pilots are born again believers ready for the coming of the Lord, when they hear the trumpet of the Lord they will be changed in a twinkling of an eye and will be gone to meet the Lord in the clouds.  What would happen to their planes and the people in them?   Crashes into buildings? On to roads, into houses or into seas?  Accidents – Accidents --deaths  - sorrows

What would happen when some bus drivers, taxi drivers and train drivers disappear in a moment and what would happen to the people traveling in their vehicles?  Accidents – Accidents – deaths and suffering!

People running to and fro looking for missing persons.

All the babies in the hospitals will disappear and children from the Nursery schools will be gone!  How would parents feel?    The children are covered by Calvary’s sacrifice for the price has been paid and the blood of Jesus has been accepted ny God.

GLORY TO GOD FOR THIS MARVELOUS PROVISION OF CALVARY’S SACRICE BY JESUS CHRIST OUR BELOVED LORD!

As Noah and his family escaped the wrath of God and were save in the ARK, we read in

2 Thess. 5: 9 says, “For God hath not appointed us (believers) to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”

HAVE YOU OBTAINED SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, YET?

Accidents everywhere in all the world, communications of every sort jammed, some news presenters disappear – what of the news?

There will be utter fear and confusion and weeping and regrets for the backslidden and evil/wicked servants of the Lord who smote their fellow servants and socialized with the drunken for whatever gain they may be after.

If anyone falls into this category of evil servants or wicked servants, then it is time to repent and be ready for His coming.

No one could impress Him with all the success attained or great ministry we have or the miracles we have done, for He sees the hearts and looks for those who do the will of His Father in heaven.  Read Mathew 7: 21- 29

You need to examine yourself and take this opportunity to adjust your life for we have an Advocate, Jesus Christ the Righteous.

Do not let anything keep you from being part of this great event that is to take place when JESUS CHRIST COMES in mid air for His blood bought people.

This is your opportunity – call on Jesus and He will hear you for He is alive!

Thank you Dr. Liz for your comments and can understand how you feel seeing that you have been teaching for 15 weeks on Revelation. However, the Holy Spirit is at work in making the Bride ready for His coming and is depending on our commitment and faithfulness in prsenting the truth whether it is popular or not. Let us focus on the Lord Jesus Christ and lift HIM up and He will draw men unto Himself.

GOD IS IN CONTROL NO MATTER WHAT!

GOD IS AT WORK WHETHER WE UNDERSTAND OR NOT

GOD NEVER MAKES A MISTAKE FOR HE SEES THE END FROM THE BEGINNING

GOD IS WHO HE SAYS HE IS AND GOD WILL DO WHAT HE SAID HE WILL DO

GOD CANNOT LIE NOR FAIL AND HE NEVER PUTS HIS TRUSTING CHILDREN TO SHAME

GOD IS BUILDING HIS CHURCH AND THE GATES OF HELL CANNOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT.
