WHAT REALLY MATTERS IN LIFE

 

I received a slide showing all the good deeds one does as what really matters in life.
Then the Spirit of God showed me what really matters in life, is to know God through Jesus Christ, His Son Who is THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE! This is God’s Perspective of our life! 
We who believe in GOD AND LIFE BEYOND, should tell others how to reach heaven and avoid ending up in hell even though they are good people according to people here. What really matters is what GOD SAYS IN HIS WORD for we will be judged accordingly on the decision we make in the light of His Word, before we leave the scene of life. 
JESUS CHRIST SAID, “Except a man/woman be born again, he/she will not see the kingdom of God.” (John 3: 3) Then where would they go? – to Hell!! 
JESUS CHRIST SAID in Luke 16: 19 -31 the story of the rich man and the beggar where they went immediately after death – one to heaven and the other to hell. Only Jesus Christ knows about the places in eternity and He came to provide us with THE ONLY WAY to get to God and Heaven, through Him. 
JESUS CHRIST SAID, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE: NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME.” (John 14: 6)

Again, JESUS CHRIST SAID, “GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONSDEMN THE WORLD; BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED.” (John 3: 16, 17)

Again JESUS CHRIST SAID, “I AM COME A LIGHT INTO THE WORLD, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON ME should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear MY words and believe not, I judge him not for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth ME and receiveth not MY words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” (John 12:46 -48)
Again, JESUS CHRIST SAID, “NOT EVERY ONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, LORD, LORD, SHALL ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. MANY WILL SAY TO ME IN THAT DAY, LORD, LORD, HAVE WE NOT PROPHESIED IN THY NAME? AND IN THY NAME DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS? AND THEN WILL I PROFESS UNTO THEM, I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.” (Mathew 7: 21 -23)

When Jesus Christ, the JUDGE says to His people who profess to know Him at the end of their lives saying, “depart from ME, ye that work iniquity” where will they go? – to Hell!!

JESUS CHRIST SAID, there are two kinds of people – children of Light and children of darkness, and two roads – the broad road and the narrow road, and there are two places in eternity – heaven and hell. Therefore let us be wise and do what Peter the Apostle preached on the Day of Pentecost, REPENT, AND BE BAPTIZED (in water) EVERYONE OF YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, AND YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. FOR THE PROMISE IS UNTO YOU, AND TO YOUR CHILDREN, AND TO ALL THAT ARE AFAR OFF, EVEN AS MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL.” (Acts 2: 38, 39) And 3000 people made decisions to obey the Lord Jesus Christ and follow HIM. 
In 1951 as a teenager I chose to accept my Lord Jesus Christ when I heard the Gospel of the Kingdom preached and received eternal life and love sharing the way to be born-again to whoever will believe and act on His Word.
