In my walk with God this statement of which God gave me several years back always proves true through everything. When Jesus is Lord you don't have to be. I use is as a slogan if you will for the ministry I oversee No Boundaries Ministries. You see it keeps me in perspective that when he is the officer or general of this army and oversees it all, I dont have to. I do as my Lord commands me and it always works the way he expects. It's just when I start giving ideas or orders from my perspective from how best to attack the enemy, to how best to reach the lost that it becomes stress filled and fruitless. It's amazing how God can even speak a little word and make such a big impact. Let him call the shots he will tell you where to go and what to do. It makes sense to him the ways he does things. Be Blessed Pastor Mike

Sister Liz, It sounds like what I hear going on in many places where the saints of God are being stirred up to win the lost and do what it takes to do it. I am writing a book on all this right now dealing with how God intends the church to function and the purpose of the 5 fold ministry. Often times the 5 fold does the only ministry or they are considered to be the only ministry. This is not scriptural of course they are there for the ministry of the saints which is the biggest ministry on earth. So I have been writing this book in hopes that the ministry of the saints will be goverened and equipped for winning the lost. I dream of a day when the church body works as one and changes the world. Be encouraged about your school I think its great and believe its of God, discipleship will be needed for all those new converts you guys win for the Lord. Always trusting him Pastor Mike

Its funny to me seeing this blog pop up, which I forget and need reminder of he is Lord and captain of my salvation. I recently spoke to the pastors about the bringing together unity in the churches to bring communion to change our community. It absolutely requires Christ to do it. Many people agree it should happen but where to start it takes God and his divine wisdom. I have been learning so much as I mentioned before serving as a man under a female senior pastor, which I use to be before I come here to help by the leading of the Holy Spirit when the pastor was who I consider to be a general in the faith. We really dont know what God is up to always, but it still comforts me to follow him knowing who is responsible for his word being carried out, it has to be him that performs his word as I do my part what ever that may be. He is Lord so I dont have to b, im a son and joint heir with Christ and blessed because of being a doer of the word,(trust, profess it, praise him, agree with him).

Well I certainly agree for God being the one in charge the scripture used by men and women both for a woman to not be in leadership is not in its original form meant how its used today. It really interprets for no one to not usurp authority that isn't theirs. And its not in a gender specifying way. However it reads how it could be taken for a husband and wife perhaps, my wife simply doesn't have authority over me but thats for her benefit to be covered by Christ in me just the same as our kids. Im responsible for them and so I have a right before God to speak to them truth's. I am actually serving under a female pastor now who is learning how to do it due to her husband passing unexpededly. And she struggles with the same sort of things there are some who will not change their minds until Heaven. In the mean time just do what God charges you to do and you will be fine and besides you only answer to one man and that man is actually perfect and the only one who is.
