Hello Mac,

Nice to hear from you Mac. Like you, I don't agree with replacement theology. But Heb. 4:9 says, "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God." If Christians are not people of God then who are? In v.11 Paul said that we, meaning Christians, should make every effort to enter that rest so that no one will fall (like the Jews did in Moses' time).

I believe that the Jews are still God's chosen people and that Jesus will return to save them, as it says in Rom. 11:25-26, but, to me, there is no doubt that Christians are God's people today.

God bless,

Mick

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
