Profile Information

You MUST provide us with a detailed answer about your ministry activities and the name & location of your credentialing ministerial association. (Note: Please provide more than just the name of church/synagogue/ministry to be considered for membership.)
My name is James Kelm, and I currently serve as the Senior Pastor of the Foundational Christian Family Ministry (www.fcfministry.org). We are a non-denominational evangelical Christian ministry/church. The FCFM is committed to bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who may not regularly be able to access a conventional physical church building. Such people may include those who are in countries that greatly restrict public Christianity, those who have physical disabilities that prevent them from accessing the conventional church building, those who are unable to find a suitable bible based church in their area, etc. As a blind individual myself, I have a special affinity for those with physical challenges, and the FCFM sincerely welcomes anyone who is sincerely seeking to develop a deeper relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ!

Along with my duties within the FCFM, I also accept speaking engagements at churches, Christian activities, and other Christian events and venues. My message is traditional and directed from scripture. My delivery and testimony is unique and entertaining. I am a living testimony of the power, and saving grace of Jesus Christ! I was born into an extremely violent and dysfunctional household. I grew up in an extremely strict and legalistic Christian church. I am a blind person who went to college, studied the martial arts, fell away from God. And came back to our Lord with the hunger and thirst for His righteousness, ultimately serving as a member of the pastoral staff of an inner city mission church, working with a number of different congregational worship teams, and now holding the position of Senior Pastor of the FCFM. I have worked as a professional musician, a combat martial art instructor, a writer, and an individual who has been claimed by Jesus Christ! In my 50 years of living I have come to understand that God does not expect perfection from us, but He does demand our sincerity!

Along with my wonderful wife Kimberly, I live in the beautiful state of Minnesota USA. Our children are out and have families of their own, leaving Kimberly and I to enjoy a rather quiet and traditional life-style. We enjoy working within the FCFM, doing our personal bible studies, relaxing with old time radio programs, etc. I love music, both performing and listening. I enjoy writing, reading, and spending time with family and close friends.

My primary objectives for becoming a member of the AOCI is to network with other dedicated clergymen, who are eager to exchange mutually beneficial guidance and support in the expansion of God’s kingdom, through the affective efforts of each of our ministries. I also am looking forward to developing true and lasting friendship with AOCI members, that will extend beyond the superficial, and will truly build interpersonal connections that fulfill God’s commands. I also am excited over having the potential of expanding my professional networking, with the objective of enhancing my currently extremely limited household finances, so that I can better meet my obligation of being a Christian husband and provider.

At the core, I am a rather quiet natured man, who enjoys a traditional approach to both Christianity and life in general. I am far from the most knowledgeable individual, but I love to learn. I love my wife, enjoy my friends, and try my best to do what I understand to be God’s will. I smile when I read about John the Baptist, because he and I would enjoy hanging out with each other! I am ordained by God, but am recognized by a number of internationally recognized Christian organizations. I do my best in life, fail often, succeed frequently, and try to not mess up too much along the way. I am thankful for the wife that God has blessed me with, become overwhelmed with my current lack of finances at times, act silly with close friends, and try to demonstrate the truth and reality of Jesus Christ to the best of my ability.
