My Prayer...

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

What Do You Do, When the Growth in your Church comes to a Holt? Now What??

Posted on August 31, 2015 at 2:20pm 0 Comments

I have found that many times we will see family after family come into your church home and seem very happy and content, then you never see them again.  What is happening to families today and why is everything else taking a priority in their life, except for the church.  Social medai shows us that many just rather be some place else other then church.

I have heard many say that Sunday's is time for them to spend with their family and that God wants them to make family first.  I…

Are you a Talker or are you a Listener? Most people just Talk...

In America today, I just read an article where it states that 98% of all people here in the states, are talkers and that only 2% of people actually listen to others.  A listener is a person whom places themselves in the other persons shoes and then helps that person in anyway possible, always choosing service first.  A talker just tells others how one should sound and how one should act.  I wonder if we stopped and truly looked at ourselves today, would we truly say that in every area of our…

More than 25 Million young adults in the U.S. are now living at home with Mom and Dad. Why?

Posted on February 24, 2014 at 7:36am 0 Comments

I read an article about how young adults are living at home late into their twenties and thirties.  The article said that they are so consumed with failing, that they are afraid to succeed and have no resilience when times or life gets tough.  Is it different for Christians or about the same? Why?

What type of education should be required before someone is recommended for ordaination.

I have seen so many times that some think that being in a church for a long period of time makes them ready to become a Pastor.  I believe that a person should show some zeal and sacrifice in preperation and then the church should step in to help along that person along the way in specific biblical courses.  What do you Think?…

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
