Thoughts about the children of Newtown

There are 20 less angels on earth tonight The streets of heaven are too crowded with angels tonight. They're our students and our teachers and our parents and our friends. The streets of heaven are too crowded with angels, but every time we think we have measured our capacity to meet a challenge, we look up and we're reminded that that capacity may well be limitless We add…

More wisdom from Hebrews

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .

Some minds are like concrete, thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

SINCE THE BEGINNING

"When YOU did awesome wonders we dared not hope for, YOU came down, the mountains quaked at YOUR PRESENCE. Such things had never been heard or noted since the beginning of the world. No eye has seen them, nor have men heard or perceived them, O GOD, but YOU, WHO act…

Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift!

We said a Irish prayer for all of our brothers and sisters specially for you, today, for family, true friends and faith to last your whole life through. We asked the Lord to give you shelter from the storm and just enough of His good grace to keep you safe and warm. We prayed the road would rise up to meet you all along the way and coin or two in your…

Who is really the "stone " of the Church?

Let’s examine the word stone or rock in Hebrew, it is eben/even and looks like this:

אבן

The Aleph, א , is the first character in the Hebrew alphabet and represents Elohiym/God or Heavenly Father.

The Bet, ב , combined with the Nun, ן , signifies the Son in Hebrew or Yahushua Ha'Maschiach/Jesus Christ.

Hence, stone in Hebrew means the Father and the Son.

So when we are told in the New Testament (Luke 6:48) to build our house on a rock and… Continue

The "real" meaning of Christmas (part 4)

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" (Gospel of Mathew Chapter 27 verse 46)

The real meaning behind Christmas (Part one)

Gentle Reader,

In a month or so you will sit down to enjoy a movie in which a story of fiction will be hailed as the truth and many will turn to Christianity and say "I knew that you were fake, no wonder we don't want anything to do with you!"

But before that happens I would like you to consider for a moment the words of God as His Son died for you and for…
