WAITING FOR THE GROOM

It was few days after their wedding; the bride had to stay back home the day her groom resumed work. Every single minute seems to be an endless decade, every turn from the door awakes her curiosity, every foot step lightens the need to have her groom beside her. She wished her groom never went to work... but he had to hence his bride suffers shelter, food and money.

So is Jesus, my groom. He had to leave for me to have a comfortable place to stay at His return. He wished He could be… Continue

I'M A PRISONER OF HOPE

Like Abraham, even when all medical fact says I can no longer give birth I would still be hopeful.

Like Joseph, even if everyone opposes me for my vision yet I will remain hopeful.

Like Caleb and Joshua, Egypt is no big reason to be hopeless about Canaan.

Like Ruth, though there be no glimpse of light to caress my weary soul yet I will be hopeful.

Like Hannah, though many years might have overshadowed my desires yet I will remain hopeful.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH: CRIMINAL OF NO CRIME

Criminal of fate;

Charged for nothing;

Not that she stole or killed;

But for the dark trait in her gene.

Life seems so unfair;

Nights and days of fear;

For the black skin she wore;

For the black stain in her blood.

Black doesn't equal bad;

Only individualistic character does;

Either black or white.

Rosa Pack -

A life of impact.

Memory of her little huge part -

A black lady with a… Continue

THE BEAUTY OF THE CROSS

Under the unbearable burden of sin;

Humanity growl, yearn, and scream;

With no glimpse of hope to be seen;

But for more terrible sin in the scene.

Pain, shame, and iniquity in gross;

Wickedness and evil in mass;

With all ushering to worst;

Except for those at the cross.

To this same cross I ran;

Without a pigeon or ram;

But with my shame as I am;

And my wide spreaded helpless arms.

There I found peace, love, and… Continue

I HAVE A DREAM

Beyond the comfort of the mind;

Where dreams are being fondled.

Far above the cradle of fantasies;

Where day dreaming steals chunk of time.

"I have a dream" -

Not just a rhyme;

Not just a line;

But a whole life.

Martin Luther was his dream;

Therein he breathe and lived;

And for it his last breathe;

For the unborn black to live.

In the cave of mere wishes;

Where action often lay lame;

There he broke… Continue
