Purpose
All Glory to our Father, the Creator of everything, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, our one and only God, King of kings, Lord of lords. And to His only Son, Jesus our Christ, the one and only Messiah and Redeemer and Savior to all you seek Him. And the to the Holy Spirit who is our Guide, our Comforter and our Teacher here on earth. As Christians, our purpose is this: Praise Him that is most worthy, honor Him in all that we do, love each other no matter what, and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world. With this purpose, we glorify Him! My Bishop, Eddie L. Long had a vision for the Body of Christ which includes these instructions: Love like Him, live like Him and lead like Him. That says it all! Halleluiah.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being You. You deserve all honor, praise and glory! Help me to walk the path of life according to Your divine will. I will seek You and follow You all the days of my life as an example of your perfect love. Please Lord, grant me knowledge, wisdom and understanding so I can Love like Him, live like Him and lead like Him!
I pray to You through the matchless name of Your perfect Son, my Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
