"Uniting Christian & Jewish Clergy from Around the World"
The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. Acts 17:30.
What are times of ignorance? Times of ignorance are those days, seasons or eras when humans operate with inadequate knowledge of the truth (Light) and as such, they do whatever pleases them, and God overlooks.
Could it be that God isn't really in agreement with most of the things done in his name, but has simply chosen to overlook? What would happen when he decides to step in, to command change? Ponder!
Times of ignorance usually precede times of knowledge. People usually grope in the dark before the breaking of dawn in order for light to be appreciated.
Light comes with responsibility! When God gives us light or sends light bearers to a generation, he expects people to take advantage of the light available to change their ways of thinking, living and doing things.
The degree of God's judgement is relative to the degree of light made available to a generation. "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required.' Lk 12:48. When true knowledge comes, whatever was established in ignorance is brought to light and the way forward for change is revealed. But if we deliberately continue in wrongdoing despite the light made available, then we invite disaster, and the things we've built in ignorance would crumble. Proverb 1:24-27.
For sometimes now, God did allow so many things to go on even though he wasn't in agreement, but that is about to change. God is in the business of "setting the record straight" in this hour. That's what I hear him saying. God isn't suggesting to us to amend our ways, but commanding us to do so. Why? He isn't just going to overlook as he has been doing.
It is a mistake to think that because God allowed us in the past to get away with many things and to do whatever we wanted, where we wanted; when we wanted, how we wanted, and with who we wanted, etc, he would continue to give us such allowance.
Remember, he gave Moses the opportunity to put together the ten commandments after he broke the first tablets of stone on which the commandments were written, but when he smite the rock with his rod, instead of speaking to it, God didn't overlook, he was refused entrance to the promised land. I know some would say that was under the law, but we are under grace. Listen to what the scriptures say, "if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins." Hebrews 10:26
Did you hear that? Some of our "pentecostal and charismatic games" we have been playing in the name of ministry would no longer be overlooked by Christ the head of the church. There is coming a sweeping and cleansing move of God that will leave no stone unturned. Mal 3:1-5. What if I say, Judgement is coming to the house of God, beginning with those on the pulpit? What if I say, more ministers would soon be carried out of their pulpits on stretchers because God is saying, enough is enough with the madness going on?
Please, permit me to talk to you. God is saying I should tell you, It's time for you to change. It's time for you to go for the truth! It's time to put your life and ministry on the right track. It's no more time to play games! Light has come, you can't afford to continue in ignorance. I pray for God's grace to come upon you for a radical u-turn.
Be blessed! Etta
