- I was born into a Christian family. The fourth of nine children, I was saved at the age of 9 and called into fulltime ministry at the age of 18. However, ministry for me began at age 12 when I became involved in saturation evangelism of his denomination and was also teaching in the adult literacy class of his local church in Odu-Ofugo village, Kogi State, Nigeria.
Upon my call in 1974 and acceptance in 1976, I returned from the city to his home region to begin evangelistic ministry. The following year, I left for training at the Bible & Missionary Training College (1977-1979) and became more involved in discipleship and Bible teaching at my Church. I later left for the United States to study at the Washington Bible College, MD from where I obtained a BA in Bible in 1982. I went further for a postgraduate degree in education at Trinity College, Washington DC, USA where he obtained an MA majoring in administration & Supervision (1983). I returned to Nigeria that year to my home mission, the Christian Missions in Many Lands (CMML) and became the Mission’s Educational Secretary in charge of the Mission’s Schools. I also taught at the Faith Bible College, helped to establish the CMML School of the Bible & Missions in 1984. In these activities, I remained very active in evangelism and `discipleship. Because of my desire to see national believers going for cross-cultural missionary work in Nigeria and beyond, I went to Biola University School of Intercultural Studies, California where he read intercultural studies (MA) and missiology (D.Miss) and returned to Nigeria in 1988 to set up what is now known as Grace Christian Mission.
Despite the activities of Grace Christian Mission where I am President, I remain very active in his denomination (118 Local Churches) as President/Chairman. At present, along with others, I am working to establish a School of Missions & Evangelism for the denomination with the sole aim of training and preparing national missionaries for cross-cultural missionary work in Nigeria and elsewhere.
I am married to Lydia, and we have five children, and two grand children.
The Grace Christian Mission of Nigeria is today involved in evangelism, 3 Christian Schools (K2-12th Grade), Bible Correspondence School, Water, hygiene and sanitation programs, healthcare through Jehovah Rapha phytotherapy Foundation as well as a Christian Counselling Centre.
GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, ANYIGBA, KOGI STATE, NIGERIA (K2-6th Grade)- Current Student population = 210
GRACE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, ANYIGBA, KOGI STATE, NIGERIA (7th - 12th grade). Current student population = 390
LIFE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, ODU-OFUGO, DEKINA, KOGI STATE (K2-6th grade). Current student population =340
JEHOVAH RAPHA PHYTOTHERAPY RESEARCH FOUNDATION, ANYIGBA, KOGI STATE, NIGERIA (Herbal Research for production of alternative medicines). I am member of the Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association, Kogi State and as well as the National Union of Medical Herbal Practtioners of Nigeria respectively.
Water Products Ltd ( A water ministry involved in water well drilling, training in hygiene and nutrition). This water ministry is directed by my first son, Dr. Hosea A. Apeh.
Christian Counselling Centre, Anyigba, Kogi State: Provides counselling services to students of secondary schools and State owned tertiary institutions on the Christian faith and HIV/AIDS pandemic.

What is the Christian/Church's response to HIV/AIDS in your country. How does the church look at herbal medicine as a remedy? Is the church campaigning for the use of condoms? What is the position of the Church on the use of condoms as a preventive measure? Does the Church support only the use of orthodox medicines? And what about pure herbal medicine as a remedy?
