First post

What are you good for? When George Washington Carver asked that question of the lowly peanut, he discovered anywhere from 100 to 300 uses. They ranged from food products (peanut butter, candy bars, cooking oil, instant coffee, sausage, meat substitute) to stock feed, from dyes and paints to medicines, wood filler to paper to laundry soap. They are used as an ingredient in dynamite and nitroglycerine. They can be made into gasoline and diesel fuel (and would probably smell better in use than… Continue

GOD STILL LOVES YOU

This is a new year, Time for new beginnings

That means we need to stop and realize that we need to look also to where we are with God. you do realize that being a Christian is more than going to church.

-------------------------------------------------------------

I can not become a Christian by just going to church.

Just because I spend a lot of time in the garage does not make me a… Continue

The formation of the theology of the Apostle Paul

paul2

Gentle Reader,

Many have neither the idea that there has been a great controversy about the author of 14 books of the New Testament. nor the fact as some even believe that Paul was the founder of “Christianity” and that Paul’s idea of the church and Christ’s were totally different. Considering the deistic who would you believe?

Many people… Continue

One more time!

bible_notes

Gentle readers,

I soon will be celebrating 40 years of Bible teaching, which is 280 years in dog years. Forty has long been universally recognized as an important number, both on account of the frequency of its occurrence, and the uniformity of its association…

We would see Jesus

Dear Gentle Reader,

e go to the Scriptures to find the real Jesus. We do not go to the scholars, the academicians, the intellectuals; especially those who come to the Scriptures without the Spirit of Christ having been born in their hearts. For to come to the Scriptures without the Holy Spirit is like making bread without yeast; it is like marrying without love; it is entering a darkened room without any source of light. Look at the real Jesus of the…

Charismatic Reformation

The following article was written for the blog that I have not started as of yet, CharismaticReformation.org. It is in raw form and still needs some revisions. It is a sort of mission statement to outline the purpose of the blog. I welcome anyone's feedback on it.

One universal element to be observed among the various social and religious movements throughout history is commonality of thought, a consensus upon what are to be the central values of the group and how those values… Continue

Effective Leadership in Ministry by Dr. Henry Vazquez

EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP IN MINISTRY - Luke 22:24-27

INTRO: Let me begin by telling you a story of some Frogs who wanted a leader. The frogs first hired a leader who they could describe as a solid log. Initially, the frogs where very happy with the “log” leader because they could Jump on the log, run all over the log, and the log was unresponsive. This type of leader is the “yes” leader. The frogs finally fired the log because the log provided no real leadership. Then the frogs… Continue

A Chosen People

“You are a chosen people, royal priests, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession (1 Peter 2:9).

Do you ever feel unnoticed? New clothes and styles may help for a while. But if you want permanent change, learn to see yourself as God sees you: “He has covered me with clothes of salvation and wrapped me with a coat of goodness, like a bridegroom dressed for his wedding, like a bride dressed in jewels” (Isa. 61:10).

Does your self-esteem ever sag? When it does,… Continue

God Has Not Forgotten About You!

Sometimes we look around at other people and see how God is causing their lives to soar and we get discouraged. If this is happening to you, don’t be discouraged because God has not forgotten about you. Every person is different and God deals with each person differently. So, it’s their season to flourish in the things of God and the vision He has given them now but your time is coming soon. Don’t get angry and bitter at them either; it is God who causes them to prosper. Be honest with yourself… Continue

God' Grace Is Sufficient for Us: He Knows Where We Are

Happy New Year Everyone!

God encouraged my heart today when I got up, thorough the three events I will describe below, so I want to encourage yours.

First event:

When I first woke up, I was in so much pain (I have had an ear and sinus infections and sore throat for the last 3 or 4 weeks – been to the doctor, tried numerous types of antibiotics and used ear antibiotic drops to no avail). On top of all of that, I have been having severe back pain… Continue

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
