The Messiah, the Son of God

Mark 1:1

This is the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God

The phrase “Son of God” has a range of meanings. In later Christian theology, “Son of God” points to Jesus’ divine nature as the second member of the Trinity. But the original Jewish sense of Son of God, that which flows from the Old Testament, has to do with royalty.

The “Son of God” was the king of Israel (2 Sam. 7:14; Ps. 2:7; 89:26-27).

The Wonderful World of Color of God's Wisdom





Ephesians 3:10-11

Walking in our destiny will involve sacrifice

Walking in our destiny will involve sacrifice. How do we overcome the fear of getting started? I know that following God radically and wholeheartedly can seem to be risky! We can know for years what our true destiny is, we can sense the call, yet we make excuses such as: 'When the kids are grown... When the last one leaves home... When I retire - maybe then... But what about my finances? Who will pay my mortgage?'
