Tell Them Broadcast - "The Inconvenience Of Feeling"

Being a witness is difficult enough without "feeling" stuff.  Sometimes the martyrdom of living for Jesus is that you can feel the pain when people are going the wrong way.  Sometimes its the feeling of being talked about, ridiculed and accused of things you are not guilty of.  Maybe your hurt is in being misunderstood.…

Tell Them Broadcast - "How Do We Get To Do The Stuff?"

We want to "do the stuff"!  We want to see the power of the Lord work through our lives!  But, if the power starts working without an understanding of the necessary "how", we could be in deep trouble.

Jesus looks at more than just what we do but, HE looks at the "why".  Our motives are important to HIM, our loyalty and love…

I AM A SOLDIER IN THE ARMY OF GOD

I AM A SOLDIER IN THE ARMY OF GOD

. '...unless a grain of wheat falls into the [ground] and dies [to self],  it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit'  (John 12:24 NAS)

I am a soldier in the army of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer. The Holy Bible is my Code of Conduct. Faith, prayer, and the Word are my weapons of warfare.

I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience,…

The Trinity

The Trinity

A short discussion proving the Trinity.

Many books have been written on the Trinity but I don't think anyone has ever honestly claimed to fully understand it. Our limited minds can never understand our infinite God any more than a computer can understand its manufacturer. The purpose…

DON'T GIVE UP!

Dearly Beloved, DON'T GIVE UP! "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil?" (Numbers 23:19 NIV). "You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, `He who is coming will come and will not delay'" (Hebrews 10:36-37 NIV). I was still trying to come out of the trauma of my third consecutive visa…

Tell Them Outreach Broadcast Saturday, July 27, 2013

We must get past our "precious" opinions of people, colors, wealth levels, etc., etc.  Jesus did not and does not give space for us to segregate who we minister the Gospel to, we have no selection process.  The Word is clear, "...preach the Gospel to every creature".

It took repeated visions and the voice of the Lord to make…

THE DUMB PREACHER

THE DUMB PREACHER

Many preachers are giving up the old ideas about the fall and total depravity of man.  People are not often plainly told now that they are guilty sinners before a holy God.  The sermons of our forefathers – who used to press this so constantly upon their hearers – are looked upon in many quarters as relics

of the dark ages, only fit for the old curiosity shop.

There is however, one preacher left of the old…

The Love Of God

Christ pledge of heaven, ''Because I live, ye shall live also''; with all these promises, the love of Christ should be eagerly accepted by every soul throughout the world as the most magnificent mercy that even the power and love of heaven combined could grant sinful man. With all the  additional blessings the Savior provides for our home relations; love instead of hatred; happiness despite of poverty; joy even in sorrow, God bless you all and let us not forget to put God first in what ever…

The Messiah, the Son of God

Mark 1:1

This is the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God

The phrase “Son of God” has a range of meanings. In later Christian theology, “Son of God” points to Jesus’ divine nature as the second member of the Trinity. But the original Jewish sense of Son of God, that which flows from the Old Testament, has to do with royalty.

The “Son of God” was the king of Israel (2 Sam. 7:14; Ps. 2:7; 89:26-27).

This didn’t indicate the king’s divinity, but rather…

Unchecked Sin

As long as sin rules unchecked in any home, the forces of evil that many of you know only too well seek to banish peace by promoting selfishness lust, hatred, and a dozen other vices. Without Christ people often seem to live in a certain kind of harmony:  yet be sure of this: if the Savior is not accepted and acknowledged in our earthly homes, we shall never acknowledged and accepted in heaven With the  blessings Jesus offers; the complete forgiveness of purple vice and scarlet sin the free…

Tell Them Broadcast - "The Inconvenience Of Friends And Family"

We deal with the overall subject of "Reach The Lost, At Any Cost".  This has been our Tuesday subject for some time.  Then we added a sub topic of "I Don't Want To Put You Out".  This deals with the way in which the Lord will rearrange our lives to accomplish HIS will.  The changes that HE makes in us are difficult to the flesh nature of man.…

Tell Them Broadcast - "Put Your Weight On HIM"

We want to "do the stuff", we want to "get off our blessed assurance!  We want to work the works of God, as some put the question to Jesus.  We need a formula.

Many times we do want to accomplish the will of the Lord, but we move in our own strength.  We want to do the stuff, as John Wimber put it, but this must be…

SINCE JESUS CAME INTO MY HEART

Dearly Beloved,

SINCE JESUS CAME INTO MY HEART

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NASU).

Honestly, I was not familiar with the hymn, SINCE JESUS CAME INTO MY HEART, until an elderly pastor sang it as solo in one of the chapel services of my office. The way the pastor sang it made me have interest in the hymn and its lyrics. The hymn was written by Rufus Henry McDaniel who…

Tell Them Outreach Broadcast, July 20, 2013 - Bishop William K. Mackie on Prayer

There are so many of us that want revival.  But revival does not come on the coattails of an evangelist, nor does it come just because we want it.  Prayer is a very important part of the process.  Prayer prepares us and the "ground".

Then, we must continue in prayer to continue to be ready and see the Lord…
