"Uniting Christian & Jewish Clergy from Around the World"
Daniel 4:1-3
1 Peace be multiplied to you.
Nebuchadnezzar the king,
To all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth:
2 I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders
that the Most High God has worked for me.
3 How great are His signs,
And how mighty His wonders!
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And His dominion is from generation to generation.
It seems good that chapter four…

A man may say that the success of his life can be measured by the wealth he has accumulated, or the position he has achieved. He may say to the world; I have prospered from you because I have great ambition and a fire in my belly! But, if a man lacks wisdom he will be without direction. Without direction he will be without hope, the much sought after compass point of life. It may be that all that he has will soon be lost because there is no direction, nor hope in his life.
Ironically,…

Daniel 3:1
Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
Not satisfied with being just the head of gold, Nebuchadnezzar commissions a ginormous golden image of himself! Sixty cubits (90 feet) tall and six cubits (9 feet) wide, his statue stands proudly and strategically in the plain of Dura for all to see!
Daniel 3:2-3
2 And King Nebuchadnezzar sent…

Daniel 2:1-3
1 Now in the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was so troubled that his sleep left him. 2 Then the king gave the command to call the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. 3 And the king said to them, "I have had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to know the dream."
According to Babylonian dating, the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's…

Daniel 1:1
In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.
Jehoiakim - he whom Jehovah has set up, the second son of Josiah, and eighteenth king of Judah, which he ruled over for eleven years (B.C. 610-599). His original name was Eliakim.
On the death of his father his younger brother Jehoahaz who favoured the Chaldeans against the Egyptians, was made king by the people; but the…

Revelation 22:1
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
The water that flows in this river is like no river that has ever flowed on the old earth! With no sea, there would be no rainfall to supply a river as we know it. This is literally the "Living Water" Jesus spoke of to the Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well! It freely flows right out of God's throne, symbolizing the continuous flow of eternal…

Revelation 21:1
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
The thought of a new heaven and a new earth intrigues me, but the thought of no sea puzzles me! I suppose that there will be no sea will be consistent with the design of the new planet. I am reminded of God's creation of His original "Paradise," the Garden of Eden. Genesis 2:4-6 tells us that before there was ever rain, the ground was…

Revelation 20:1
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
The identity of this angel, although not disclosed, is most likely the Archangel Michael. He is surely the same angel from Revelation 9:1 who was given the key to open the bottomless pit at the Fifth Trumpet Judgment.
The angel also comes with a great chain, an understatement considering who must be bound with it, and for what length of time this…

Revelation 19:1
After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
"After these things..." After what things? After the seven Seal Judgments, after the seven Trumpet judgments, and after the seven Bowl judgments, the world has been decimated! After the destruction of the Great Harlot, the world's false religious system, and after the total destruction of Babylon, that great…

Revelation 18:1
After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.
Some believe this is Christ, but he is not. This angel is like the last angel who was speaking to John in chapter 17. This chapter 18 angel shows up in a blaze of glory and illuminates the whole earth probably because the fifth bowl judgment in chapter 16 sees the earth cast into darkness!
Revelation 18:2
And he cried…

Revelation 17: 1
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters...
Jeremiah 51:13 refers to the destruction of Babylon;
Jeremiah 51:13
O you who dwell by many waters, Abundant in treasures, Your end has come...
Interesting that Jeremiah referred to Babylon as one who dwells by many waters as if to connect her destruction to…

Revelation 16:1
Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."
Several thousands of years earlier, God wrought ten plagues upon Egypt! They were: Plague One: Water turns to blood, Plague Two: Frogs, Plague Three: Lice, Plague Four: Flies, Plague Five: Livestock diseased, Plague Six: Boils, Plague Seven: Hail, Plague Eight: Locusts, Plague Nine: Darkness, Plague Ten: Death of…

Revelation 15:1
Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.
Much more than this spectacular image of seven angels appearing with seven bowls, is that this great and marvelous sign represents that these seven bowl judgments are the final judgments of Revelation!
If you remember back in chapter 11:15, the angel having the seventh trumpet sounded his trumpet which…

Reaping the Earth's Harvest and the Grapes of Wrath!
Revelation 14:14
Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
Throughout scriptures, clouds represent the presence of God. In the imagery presented here, we find that the One who is like the Son of Man is Jesus Christ Himself! The imagery of the Lord sitting on the…

The Proclamations of Three Angels
Revelation 14:6-7
6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth — to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people — 7 saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water."
Of these three angels and the messages they bring to the…

THE LAMB AND THE 144,000
Revelation 14:1
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.
This amazing group of men is one-in-the-same as those introduced in chapter seven. There have been many commentaries written regarding the identity of these men, as well as their location and timing. Some of the possibilities are:
1) These are…

THE BEAST FROM THE SEA
Revelation 13:1-2
Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
As John is standing on the sand facing the sea, we might…

Revelation 12:1
1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
In this chapter there is so much symbolism! God paints the most beautiful pictures with words! As only God can, he tells us the truth through His most beautiful imagery!
He begins with a sign, a symbol telling us of something. Here we are witness to the first of seven signs revealed in the…
