A WORD FROM PASTOR WILL: 'Failure as Worship'

As a follower of Christ, you may say something, do something, react to something in an unchristlike way today and then feel discouraged. You might have walked close to Christ all week and one annoying person or crisis in our life comes along and we might blow it. Trip we will. Fall we may. But know that it only goes to prove the unfailing love and faithfulness of God. Don't beat yourself up. Use the experience as a humbling one before God and then let God lift you and carry you if He must until you are walking again. We blow it from time to time folks. It is a reality of the human condition. We are followers of Christ. We are NOT Christ. Times like these remind us of how weak we are on our own. It reminds us why we need an intimate relationship with our God. It reminds us that our strength comes from Him. Life is a challenging journey. If you blow it today, remember God is waiting to hold you close and lift you to a higher place. He loves when we come running to Him in those hours. It is a form of worship all its own.
